WVU is a great school to attend, and a great place to visit if in the area. Filled with rich history, there is plenty to see and do on campus, as well as in Morgantown.

Very sprawled out but what big campus is not? Downtown campus is beautiful. Old school buildings but upkept very nicely. I am not from wv but I could not be happier with my choice. Forewarning, walking the campus can be very tiring due to everything being in a hill but just think, it will get you in shape :)

Fantastic school with fantastic people. Have been there twice before making the final decision and everytime we go back we are more and more impressed by the staff and ANYONE we talk to and with. Looking forward to having four great years there!

WVU's nursing program is in the old hospital. This building is like navigating a maze and takes some getting used to. I parked in the parking garage and found the parking fees quite pricey. The bathroom are old and need updated. Elevators are slow due to mass of people. However, the nursing instructors and Trauma instructors are friendly. I also... More

From the viewpoint of an Academic Professor, I know that West Virginia University is a Tier One Research Institution of Higher Education (IHE.) For several reasons, WVU and environs are cutting edge technology and research. As a Proud Mountaineer, my view is that WVU plays second fiddle to none. We have been Mountaineer supporters for 60+ years. WVU football and... More

We toured the university, but it was not one of my favorites. The campus is spread out in different areas without many "green" areas. Lots of hills and old houses mixed in. They didn't even show us the Library as part of the tour. Not a good sign when selling the academics of your campus.

On a recent trip with my wife and kids to West Virginia. We stayed at the hotel M next to the university of WV. The hotel accommodations where very good. The room was nicely remodelled and very clean. The staff was also very polite and attentive. We would recommend Hotel M to anyone who wants a nice clean place to... More

I spent 7 years of my life at WVU for my undergrad and Masters degrees. It was the best 7 years of my life. I enjoyed returning in October for a football game (Homecoming) reconnecting with old friends and making new ones.
