Went there today with 2 small children ages 4 and 5. The kids enjoyed everything there to offer dinosaur displays, to the resident friendly dogs roaming the property. Not going to say much about the actual caverns because I don't want to spoil any expectations other than it's a must see and you will enjoy yourselves. I noticed an older... More

The Lost World Caves offers two types of tours -- regular "civilized" tour that lasts about 45 minutes, and "Wild Caves" tour that takes you beyond the beaten path, through most of the rest of the cave, with all of its nooks and crannies. You have to book this tour at least 2 days in advance. I must say it... More

Great place for relaxing on your own time! Our grandkids loved it and the dogs that meet you on your arrival. We picked up Subway in Lewisburg and had a picnic there, my grandkids loved the horses nearby as well!

Enjoyed the whole trip. The gift shop is fantastic. Best one I have ever been in. The caverns were awesome.

Went to West Virginia to go white water rafting, and wanted to find an additional day trip. We took our 4 kids ages 18, 16, 13 and 8. This was a FANTASTIC experience for all of us. Our guides, Steve and Mara were so knowledgeable and gave all of us the confidence to try all of the challenges. Steve took... More

Went to lewisburg to visit my girlfriends son and we all went to Lost World Caverns. Such a cool place. Both with the constant 52 degrees in the cave as well as the entire set up. The owner and his staff were beyond friendly. The self tour takes about 45 min we took 2 hr. I recomend going.

My wife and I decided to take the wild tour and boy are we glad we did. Seven hours in the cave learning spelunking. What an experience!! We were told ahead of time that anything we didn't want to do we could take a "go around" but in the end we did it all (we're in our sixties so if... More

My hubby and I decided to book the "wild tour" over the standard, self guided tour. The owner was helpful and funny, and our guide, Jon, was fantastic.. Fun and both a knowledgable and experienced caver. The tour was way more physical than either of us expected and we were quite sore the next day, but we would take the... More

Stopped here for a break on a road trip. It's a small cavern you can get through in a hour or so. Some of the walking is very tricky so it's not really for very young kids or people with mobility issues. They give you a sheet with 10-12 descriptions of the marked sights you will see. You can go... More
