The staff were very accommodating. I am very claustrophobic & they let me look into the cavern before paying for my tour. I ended up taking the tour & was not dissappointed. The caves are beautiful. The self-guided tour allowed us to look as long as we wanted. The pathways were well maintained.

What a wonderful trip. The guided cavern hike takes you to places you have never imagined. The guides are very informative and focus on safety. They provide you with the helmet, gloves, knee pads and a light as you will need them to avoid a few bumps and bruises. Highly recommended!! They serve a great lunch, provide photos on CD... More

I have been to most of the show caverns in Virginia and none of them were self guided. I loved the fact that this one in West Virginia is self guided because you get to go at your own pace and explore on your own. You really do feel like you are an explorer. Because it is self guided, you... More

I've been to a few caves before, but this has been the most exciting trip! Beautiful and crazy features, and the guides are fun and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend this to everyone. To do more than just the walk around experience does take strength and some conquering of fears, but still good for anyone looking for an adventure!

Lost World Cavers was not my first wild caving trip, but tops all of my previous trips by far. Not only are the caves beautiful and a ton of fun to explore, the guides and owners are knowledgeable and always willing to take the extra step to ensure a more fun experience. I can't wait to return with others and... More

I loved the people who own this place. They are knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. The caverns are amazing wonders and I took some great photos. It is a cave so it is cold and damp. Remember to dress appropriately and wear tennis shoes (or something with soft rubber soles).

We stopped at this caverns on our way to the Greenbrier for Christmas. It received excellent reviews, plus we were looking to kill a few hours before checking in. I don't get all the 5 star reviews its receiving. It's a caverns, yes. But I'm not sure it's a 5 star caverns. I'm not an archeologist or anything, but I've... More

We were quite fascinated to see these caverns. It made it possible to see the cavernssince they were so close to where we stayed. It was nice to visit and the entire family was mesmerized.
