We were here preparing for an evening wedding and I enjoyed wandering around the well maintained grounds. The free video in the visitor center was informative! Need to come back for a tour, but the facilities for a small wedding and reception were amazing. One tip - be aware that the café coffee is a K-cup.

Had a very nice time at the Museum and Village. Got there just in time as 2 groups of school kids were finishing their tour. My wife & i were the only 2 on our tour so we had time for talking to the guide on the side also. Got to see lots of interesting items, old cars TV's washing machines,... More

If you like old-time town museums, this is a pip. Appalachian buildings and artifacts moved to this location. Intriguing, and has a pet farm for the kids. Friendliest gray cat we've ever met, and even llamas. But remember -- like camels, llamas will spit at you if you're mean. These didn't, by the way.

A cool place to visit with small children as they have farm animals to pet and it is a cool place to learn about farm life during the early 1900s.

We were fortunate to visit the Farm this fall with a group and enjoy a catered dinner as well. The staff and owners were wonderfully accommodating and my group were completely transfixed by the history and stories. For anyone visiting this area, if you miss the Heritage Farm, you miss a true slice of West Virginia life. My group stated... More

At first I thought the tickets were a little pricey but how can you put a price on time when you get the chance to step back into time and see how your grandparents and great grandparents had to live. History has no price. This place is a HAVE TO VISIT. You won't be displeased! The staff is very knowledgeable.

We go mostly to see the animals but they usually have a new exhibit which is entertaining and educational. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgable

This is a really cool place hidden on the edge of Huntington, toward Wayne County. It's like walking through a portal to the past.

The owners were very accommodating, but it also helped that a lot of relatives stayed overnight in the cabins. We used the second floor of the main building in June and something went wrong with the air conditioner, but it was still a wonderful time. They provided chairs and tables, as well. The cabins are REALLY nice to stay in... More

I did not do any of the tours, I only stayed in the cabin. The cabin was great. A little expensive for 2 people, but we had access to the pool. No TVs or internet in the cabins but we were fine with that. Really beautiful cabins.
