Fantastic view

We enjoyed our time here and the weather was great for November. People were still fishing and boats in the water. A few fish tells were exchanged!

WV has the very best cabins to rent, by far! We loved the fact the deer would come right up to the door! The cabin was clean and we had everything we needed for the week. We had a great time hiking, sitting by the fire and just relaxing! Perfect place to "get away from it all!" Love it!

The cabins are awesome. If you have never stayed in a WV state park cabin, you are missing out on a great experience. The lake has great fishing and you can rent boats to make it more fun. Enjoy the fresh air and scenery. This is a great time of year to go.

I have stayed with a friend at Bluestone State Park before and always enjoyed my stays. This time I needed a place to go by myself to relax and rewind from a very emotional past year. This was perfect!! I rented one of the 2 person cabins and I enjoyed my stay immensely! I walked over at Hinton and thru... More

I’ve rented cabins at Bluestone State Park several times over the years, and have always found this to be a wonderful experience. The park is beautiful. It’s a bit of a winding drive to get back to the park office and the cabins, but worth the effort. The cabins are basic, but have everything that you need for getting away... More

Although we visited for only a few hours we enjoyed our experience at Bluestone. It's an extended, convoluted drive from the highway to get to the park office but do so. Pick up a map from the helpful staff, find a trail, and go for a walk/hike. The pool looked clean and inviting, campgrounds appeared pleasant. With no entrance fee... More

Fished in the lake and went swimming in the pool. The staff we talked to were all helpful and nice. Park is well maintained. The main sign for the turn off of the main road is missing due to construction, so watch out! Really enjoyed the park.

Beautiful place, we were just out sight seeing the water was so clear. We had not been able to walk out on a dam for many years and was surprised to be able to walk about a third of the way out.

A nice state park, basic - has cabins, lots of trees and green space; no organized activities in winter. has good trails. We've stayed in the cabins here for several years, for a family reunion. The cabins are basic, taken care of.
