The lodge is laughable. There is a restaurant and a cafeteria. The cafeteria was the worst food i have ever eaten or not for that matter. Cold bad bowling alley type pizza....Fries were cold and old. Soda had zero fizz. Resort is in need of major upgrades. Super slow lifts. Takes about 13 mins to ride up. Website said they... More

We still nearby cabin (Craig's cherrywood) with plenty of room for nine people to stay comfortably. It was a hot tub full kitchen washer and dryer. We went snowboarding for three days and although there was no 'real' snow the slopes are open and everything was good. Long 2 mile runs sure beat Ohio slopes. Everyone was super friendly and... We come to Canaan Valley every other year the week between Christmas and New Years. We have our choice to ski/snowboard at Canaan Valley or Timberline. We have done both and both are great, however I will choose Timberline over Canaan every time as long as my green trail Salomander is open…2.2 miles from the top of the mountain is... More

We were just at the lodge at Timberline and went to Timbers. Worst service ever warm beer, no silverware, no napkins never got any plates though we asked twice! My beer was first given in a plastic solo cup 75% foam the waitress Tiffany said she couldn't see when she poured and she brought back in a warm mug, the... More

I can't speak for the resort or the restaurants, but my family and I came here for the scenic chair lift. We had an excellent time, which is pretty amazing considering the weather (icy cold rain.) We enjoyed the ride and the little hike through the pine trees at the top. The staff at the ticket place and operating the... More

I stayed at Timberline during my Fall Break, 5 days, four nights. I was with another photographer, who had his own room. I did not find the room to be noisy, as stated in a lot of reviews. However, I did find the check-in a little odd. We checked in at the ski boot rental area of the building. We... More

My husband and I stayed here mid week for a little get away out of town. We had never been to the Davis area and thought it would be fun to explore during the fall. We chose to stay at the Timberline Hotel because it had the best price compared to the surrounding resorts. We stayed on the slope side... More

When we got a great price on an early fall stay at the height of leaf-peeping season, I was concerned this might indicate low quality. That wasn't the case at all. While there were some downsides at the resort, namely that the walls there are kinda thin, the stay was quite pleasant overall. The setup is a little odd. We... More

My wife and I visited TImberline Four Seasons Resort for a weekend away. It was perfect for some quiet time together. The ski lift offers wonderful views of the Canaan Valley and surrounding mountains. We saw lots of wildlife around the resort and enjoyed an afternoon of horseback riding at the TImberline Stables. All of the staff that we interacted... More

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here. Our room was great. We had more than enough room. We had two queen size beds and two sets of bunks. Shower was great lots of hot water. We also had a balcony and a hot tub in the room. Now, for the area, everything was closed. The lifts were closed that... More
