Our hotel room was very spacious and clean, with a separate room for the kids and their own TV. We had an excellent time skiing - if you have kids, you must take advantage of the children's ski programs. Wonderful instructors and Mama had some time to ski by herself ;) Definitely recommend.

My friends and I were there for 3 nights. Got a nice room with 2 beds and a decent futon. Nothing fancy and it smelled musty when we got there. The room needs a little updating. The showers were good. There was plenty of soap, shampoo and there is a separate sink inside and outside the bathroom which came in... More

After relocating to WV from Park City, UT I am in awe of all of the tele skiers at this fabulous little resort. We also LOVE playing on Salamander's 2 miles of playground in an effort to effect our spins and backwards skiing! :)

Finally made it to Timberline after two trips to Canaan Valley. Compared to the latter, the facilities here seem a bit older and probably could use a facelift some time soon. The only place to take a break and rest is the bar/restaurant, which is two narrow flights up and also the only place to get drinking water as there... More

I and the family had a last minute destination to go skiing - Timberline in Davis, WV. The area - spring skiing is in the final stages of the season. This said I can understand that i have to overlook an ending season...but - when I and the family walk up to the lift ticket window, the teenager was less... More

The people are SO friendly and the skiing is GREAT!!! I was there with our Boy Scout troop for the 9th time. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.

Timberline is a high end resort with Mountain Mansions. There is an abundance of ski-in ski out slope side condos. Timberline is a great resort for families, teens, the young, and the old. Almost any experienced skier will avoid the weekend hoards. Lots more fun to ski midweek. Enjoy long runs and challenging slopes. The "dining" area is ok. The... More

The kids and I went skiing for the first time ever with my son's boy scout troop. We decided to take the ski lesson because we needed to learn the ropes. There were several ski instructors for our large group (15-18). All the instructors but one were great. Even though there were some people, like me, who didn't feel prepared,... More

My family returned to Timberline for the 2nd time in two years because we had a wonderful experience in 2013. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the ski lessons received Feb. 1st. When the instructor came to see the kids, she took a large group and did not want to hear what I wanted to tell her about the... More

We stopped here to grab a room and relax. We came on a camping trip and were rained out.the room was nicely decorated and clean. It had a small balcony with chairs and a whirl pool tub. The downside is we were the only people in the whole building! I guess in the off season they are pretty slow. The... More
