We were here in August during a girls weekend. We didn't stay at their hotel, but decided to come here for dinner Friday evening. There was a race going on that weekend and quite a few people around- outside by the fire and at the bar. The bar/restaurant was suppose to have a band that evening. The door was open... More

Boasting an average annual snowfall of 180-200in of natural snow, 40 trails, an alpine summit of 4,268 feet, 1000 ft of vertical excitement, and the best glades skiing south of Vermont! Timberline is definitely the place to go to for skiing/snowboarding in the Mid-Atlantic region! Timberline has been my home mountain for the past four years and I wouldn’t want... More

We have been coming here 15 years. I love it, but it is falling apart. The food service, when you can get it, is a disaster and often understaffed- but the food, when it comes, is usually good. Full bar, good beer selection. This is a party resort and while it is a good resort for beginners, it is also... More

This a great resort. The hotel is up to date and very clean. The only bad thing is the hotel website is totally different than what to expect here. There is no breakfast offered and the menu online doesn't match the menu of the restaurant. Overpriced menu items but what can u expect from a resort. I recommend going elsewhere... More

Ski weekend and stayed at lodge (hotel?) on property. Timberline exhibits none of the pretense you see at some ski resorts. It is funky, down-to-earth, family friendly resort. Management and staff could not be more friendly or helpful. Annual "Luau" weekend complete with fireworks and "lava flow" is quirky but part of the overall charm. Hotel is clean, basic, with... I recently spent President's Day weekend with friends at Timberline to try out my rudimentary snowboarding skills. The mountain wasn't bad (not a true "Four Seasons" or "resort" by any means, but I wasn't exactly expecting Chamonix or Whistler). Prices were higher due to the holiday weekend (and they had an equipment shortage -- they ran out of size 9... More

Timberline is an excellent resort for the beginner or the expert skier. They have a great variety of slopes always perfectly groomed. The housing around the mountain, which we have stayed in three different ones, are so cozy and well stocked. The ski school and instructors or top notch- some of the best in the business!

We discovered Timberline Four Seasons resort in January 2015 and it is by far our favorite mountain to snowboard in the eastern United States. Every time we have been the snow conditions are fantastic. If has some great intermediate to advanced trails and we love that it's not too crowded. It also boasts that it has the longest beginner trail... More

My weekend at Timberline was perfect! I couldn't have asked for much better snow conditions. The powder was wonderful. Also staying in Timberline's bunk house is super affordable. I'm am definitely looking forward to revisiting this resort!
