My four year old loved visiting here because until now it was only a mural she slept under. We did see the pool but didn't go. The gentleman at the mill was really nice to my four year old. He gave her a "certificate" saying she had completed her mill training. My daughter thinks she is going to work there... More

I only live about 5 miles from here so I've came to this park my entire life. The Grist Mill here is world wide famous. There's even wall murals of the Mill. The trails and scenery are some of the best in our state. The Cabins are very cozy and would make a fun romantic weekend or even fun for... More

I have been to this location at least five times. It is so beautiful and so serene. One of my favorite places to photograph in any season. I only stayed in the cabins once. It was OK but I asked for a cabin with little or no stairs because I was recovering from knee problems. They don't have many for... More

Absolutely gorgeous in every season! The mill is incredible. The lake, cabins, pool and camping areas are clean and well cared for!

You've probably seen photos of this grist mill before. They're in art galleries all over the country, so why not see it in person while you have the chance? But don't stop there. This 4000 acre state park is a great place to spend the day. It is rarely busy and beautiful during every season. Furthermore, it offers many activities,... More

I have been several times over the years and this place never disappoints. The old mill is beautiful, the falls are perfect in the fall ;), and the entire park is full of history and beauty. There really isn't a bad time to go, though of course like many attractions in southern WV, it will close for the season as... More

We were visiting West Virginia, which is a beautiful state, and someone told us we were near Babcock. This is a wonderful place! I have seen this mill on calendars, it is so lovely. We just visited the grist mill and took lots of photos, but it is truly delightful!

Loved this park! It was beautiful and they make their very own corn meal in the mill. Would recommend it to anyone.

This is one of the most beautiful grist mills around. Be sure to carry a map, since GPS can not be depended on the get you there. In addition to the mill there is a lake, hiking, and they rent cabins for over night stays. It's a beautiful park!
