Just wanted to get out and it was convenient to our stay. Just a simple local muni. Played with 2 friendly locals and had a good day.
Not the best conditions when I was there.

I was a charter member of Locust Hill in 1991. Stopped played for 10 years and recently started again. Staff at locust Hill acted as if we were bothering them to sign in and play. Everyone standing around and talking as if there was nothing else to do. Course has really slipped since owned by the Burches and Steeleys. Will...

If your ball is attracted to water and sand, this is a frustratiing course. It is billed as one of the better courses in the area along with it's sister course, Cress Creek Country Club in nearby Shepherdstown ( aquite challenging and expensive course as well.) Just wanted to make the correction on geography. They are in two completely different parts of the state. Charles Town is in the Eastern Panhandle, between MD and VA.
