Beautiful park. We drove to the mouton top and it was a wonderful view. It is a great park for families. If you want to do the shooting make sure you RSVP a head of time because it is open on a reservation basis only.

this is a great place to be in nature with some comforts and a variety of activities. It is what it is though. You are staying in cabins or at the lodge in the woods so there are bugs every where and the showers are tiny. The accommodations are not fancy but you have all the necessities. I especially like... This is one of our favorite parks to visit. It is close to home and has free admission. There is a friendly small town feel to it and it is well maintained and clean. The facilities are in good shape . Rest rooms are clean and well stocked with supplies. The only negative was that on a recent visit the... More

We drove down from our hotel in Berkeley Springs to go hiking for the morning. It was a wonderful hike 2-hour hike on a medium-level trail (some elevation) followed by a satisfying meal at the state park lodge restaurant. Next time we are in the area we will make time to go swimming and boating at the lake.

This is the very best park in the area. A very large swimming lake, pick nick areas, play areas for children, fishing, swimming, a wonderful lodge, and much more.

It was a beautiful day in the valley. The park was inviting and well maintained. We wanted to drive to the Mountain Look out and unfortunately be the time we got to the top fog had set in. This golf course was beautiful and if you are looking for a good round at a great price I would highly recommend... More

We stopped here while visiting nearby Berkeley Springs State Park. The resort is beautiful. Nice little lake for swimming and paddle boats. Lots of shaded picnic areas. Take the drive to the peak of the mountain for a spectacular view.

We've been coming to the park for years. The nature center is small but great for families, as are all the hikes, crafts, and informational sessions offered by the naturalist each day. There is a small lake for swimming, or you can rent a kayak or paddle boat. There are limitless tables for picnicking, and miles of trails to hike/explore.

This is a nice state park with miles of hiking trails. It took me a couple days to hike all the trails. Some of them go on the mountaintop. The restaurant was a long way from fine dining but the people were nice.

My family spent a day in the park. We did not stay overnight. For a day trip, it was wonderful! We took the hour horse ride. Rich was our guide and he was so patient with nervous riders (me!). He pointed out fawns and a buck on the ride. Then we had a picnic in a quiet area near a... More
