We stopped at this park on our trip. It was a beautiful lake surrounded by small mountains. We rented a pontoon boat and rode the lake for a couple hours. Oh my gosh....was so relaxing. We loved it....would love to come back with the grandkids!

This is a nice place to relax and spend some quality time with my wife. We live close by and will be going there again soon. The park is clean and we'll maintained. I recommend you give it a try you won't be disappointed.

We choose this park since it is currently the only State Park in WV accepting online reservations. The park is nice overall. The pool was very nice and enjoyable for the 90 degree weather we had. Great bike paths too. We stayed in the Full Hookup section. The sites are small. The Shower house was clean and great water pressure.... More

Had a wonderful time with the grandchildren. Lovely camping site, nice pool, nice lake (lake a little muddy, but WV has had a lot of soaking rain this year), nice hiking trails, good playgrounds and bath houses are always clean. We will be coming back.

We were there over a extended July 4th weekend, 2015. The men went fishing, the girls swimming, and the women shopping. It was a rainy weekend, but the 4th was a great day. Our favorite things were the nice cabin and the very friendly deer. The people who worked at the park, in the surrounding areas - everywhere were so... More

Stayed this past week for 2 day. Unfortunately it rained. The park is nice and well kept. If you like cell, internet or satellite connection better not stop Now if you want a weekend with your kids and you ( unplugged) this is your park. Be careful what you ask for ???? :)

My family and I, all 13 of us, stayed at this park while celebrating my granddaughter's high school graduation. This is the second time we have stayed in the cabins and I definitely recommend this park and it's facilities for family time. The cabins are extremely comfortable and completely furnished. We will always chose this park when needing accomodations for... More

Considered the worst fishing lake in Wv by the Dnr. The lake is shallow and muddy and full of trash. The campground is not connected to the marina by a road and there are no shade trees so your just baking in the sun.Do yourself a favor and go on to east lynn lake.

Relaxing week of camping, we enjoyed our stay. Nice Dump station as well, after the trip the site only had electric, but water was available to fill with.
