Short but interesting tour. You get up close and personal with the process. But it is not large or complicated so it goes fairly quickly. Now the whiskeys are surprisingly good and worth the trip. And a nice break from the wine.

If you love fine whiskey, or just want a break from all the wineries in the area, consider Woodinville Whiskey Co. I've long been a fan of their Rye (the only 100% rye in America), but the tour helped me understand more about their business. As a 'craft distillery', they are required to use at least 50% Washington state ingredients,... More

We were here 3 years ago and I was excited to go back and try again since we love whiskey. They had moved to a new, larger location since the last time we were here and they had some new things to try. The building is beautiful and when the door to the distillery opened you could smell the mash-which... More

On the edge of Woodinville wine country go for something different. The Woodinville Whiskey Co. is about 5 years old and is now able to release their first properly aged product. A tasting is $10 and well worth it (I split it with another person in my party). The pours are about 2oz each (you get 4) and the cost... More

It's a far cry from the Smokey Joes Tavern that used to be on the property. The tasting room is a quiet place and the attached restaurant run by the same people who do the Skillet food truck has great apps. The "porch" is a nice place to hang out on nice weather days with drinks and finger food. Been... More

We had driven by here so many times after finally stopping in. While it was a fun atmosphere, drinks were ok and the menu was not what we had hoped for. The coolest looking place, great outside area to have conversations, but go for apps and beer.

My husband and I visited after reading about their facility online. What an awesome place! We had a great tour by Matt who was so excited to share his knowledge and experience with us. Their newly released bourbon and rye are fantastic and the tasting room is beautiful. Glad to see they're doing well, would love to return one day!

This distillery was one of the original "craft distilleries" in the Puget Sound region, although they started out with a lot more money then most of the other distilleries in the area. Since then, they have grown a lot, moving into a purpose built location where they offer tours that will give anyone new to the world of creating high... More

Woodinville Whiskey Company is close to the wineries we were visiting. This was a pleasant surprise and we very much enjoyed our $5.00 tasting. They make both a rye and bourbon tasting. They also have vodka. The distillery is quite pretty and was the surprise highlight of our day in Woodinville.
