We did the boutique wine tour which took us to 4 smaller wineries. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgable and we really enjoyed his company. He wasn't too overbearing with his presence but always offered suggestions and answered any questions we had. We signed up with some friends and spent a Saturday afternoon touring - and tasting - local wineries. The tour we did included a luxury small bus picking us up at a downtown Seattle hotel (there is an eastside pick up option too) and taking us to several wineries - one of which provided a 3 course lunch! 6 hours... We learned of Barrel Wine Tours via Living Social-- and I'm glad we did! They operate tours of ~25 people from Seattle area hotels to Woodinville winerys. The ride is about 1 h, but comfortable.
