Chateau Ste. Michelle is a place you want to be sure to visit when you are in the Woodinville area. Just 30 minutes from Seattle, many make that trip as well. Not only is it a full production winery (though the grapes are grown East of the Cascade Mountains), the grounds are worth the visit by themselves. On a sunny... More

Unfortunately - because our GPS got us lost - we arrived with only 5 minutes left for wine tasting. However - they still accommodated us - great little shop - lots of wines to purchase - and it would be very fun to go back and do a tour! What a great place to take a date!!!

They've really made this a world class winery destination. The grounds are beautiful, the workings high tech, the tour informative, and the tastings great. I've always had a penchant for Washington Merlots (never mind what the Paul Giamatti's character says about Merlot in the movie Sideways!!) and these good folks deliver especially in their named vineyards/areas. Also there is an... More

Although November and the grounds were not summer perfect you could still appreciate their beauty. The Manor House and tour were terrific and a free wine tasting completed the experience. Our tour guide Jean did a great job conveying the winery's history and philosophy. We would definitely recommend a stop when in the Seattle area. (Only about a 40 minute... More

My wife and I are experienced wine drinkers and tasters. We decided to make Chateau Ste. Michelle our first stop in Woodinville because it was supposed to be beautiful. We were not disappointed. Both the main building and the grounds are indeed beautiful. Without reservations, we only had to wait 5-10 minutes for a free tour. This included four tastings.... More

My wife and I drove out to the Chateau Ste. Michelle for our first vineyard experience. The grounds are beautiful, we saw lots of geese, a couple of peacocks, and some other little wildlife just on the short walk up to the winery. We walked around the grounds a bit enjoying the landscape and views before heading inside. The staff... More

My husband and I stayed locally so we could visit Chateau Ste. Michelle winery as part of our 10th anniversary celebration. The grounds are beautiful, the tour guide very knowledgeable, the décor and gift area very tastefully decorated and all staff were friendly and helpful. When the guide found out about anniversary she gave everyone in the tour a glass... More

What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. We had signed up ahead of time for the wine and cheese pairing class. Our guide was very informative and the portions were extremely generous. I didn't even finish all the different wines that they gave us! The grounds were gorgeous. It would be a perfect place to just sit and have... More
