We enjoy parking here (permit required) and walking the trails. Sometimes we bring our grandchildren over to play on the new playground equipment. The campground is great with lots of space between campers and appropriately shaded by large trees. From here you can take a circular hike to see birds. You can go to a small beach to wade in...It... I was traveling through Wenatchee in My pickup camper and decided to stop at this state park as I had an off season pass. Three park provided me a nice respite from travel... The park is just that a park in the city adjacent to the confluence of the Wenatchee and Columbia rivers... Not very natural but nice anyway... Not... More

We stay here every October and love it. The local dog club hosts an agility trial here so the park is very convenient. The park is very well maintained. With that said, they are sticklers for State Park rules.

This may not apply to regular visitors as my stay was as a firefighter when the park was used as an Incident Command Post and Base Camp for large fires in the area. This was the second time I've stayed at the park during large fires. The park staff were very accommodating and supportive to the firefighters. I wish to... More

Took my Lil ones to play and have a day out. Park is so nice, clean, and open. Nest part is walking trails and the kids play equipment is close to restrooms. Great fun!

Beautiful park with lots of room in camping spaces and in general. We experienced excellent customer service when the spot we were supposed to move to after the first night was still occupied after check-out time. We had contact with the State Park employee at registration, the Park Ranger and the Park Volunteer Host, and everyone did a great job... More

Campground is fairly quiet, very open with a few trees for shade and lots of room between sites. Not many bugs at night. Boat launch is pretty steep and the Columbia river's current is fast-5 mph. Tough to go up stream but the river feels slower up closer to the dam.
