It's a giant tourist trap that sucks you in after you've been driving for miles on that godforsaken highway. On the ground floor, they have a bunch of different food, some fresh, some packaged. They also have booze and candy. The top two floors of this mega barn are dedicated to antiques. Some things are more antique than others. DVDs... More

Thorp is a regular stop on I90 when we are driving to Seattle during cherry season. This huge building has a large assortment of fruit and lots of sauces, jams, granola, and nut mixes, etc. They also have ice cream by the scoop. It is always fun to stop and stock up - but - the real stars are the... More

I stop in Thorpe anytime I am passing through the area on I-90. It is a large antique mall upstairs, and has a great assortment of friuit and food goodies on the ground floor. The prices of their bulk fruits are EXCELLENT. Ten lbs. of honey crisp apples currently going for $12.99. Their specialty foods and wine are definitely on... More

For several years I have stopped by Thorps. Last year I bought a large box of Honey Crisp Apples. Soon after I got home to Idaho, the apples started going bad. I was not happy, but since I love a good Honey Crisp this fall I decided to try again. I put the apples in the crisper and once again... More

I have driven by this large barn while traveling back and forth between Seattle and Spokane. A big, and I mean big sign, saying Thorp Fruit and Antique. This time I stopped in and took an hour wandering thru true Americana and farm fresh fruit and vegetables. All good and fresh. The antique mall occupied the upper two floors..and it... More

Stopped here with extended family while staying in the area. This is a really fun place to poke around, grab a snack and some fruit and check out some eclectic collectables. This is not necessarily the cheapest place to buy fruit in bulk (instead go south a half-hour to Yakima and buy it straight from the orchards) but there are... More

We wanted to get some fresh fruit on our travels from Eastern WA to Western WA, and saw the Thorpe Fruit sign. We found fresh cherries at a good price, but much of the stuff in the store is from other areas, including Kent ,Wa, Chicago, ILL, Ny, etc. Not all of their fruits are from WA. They had the... More

Always stop here when going east or coming back west and the produce never disappoints. The specialty items are great and locally made but the markups are unreal. I'm talking 100-200% on some items like Cougar Gold Cheese. My advice, buy the produce there and find the special type items in Seattle or Spokane at a Safeway. Your wallet will... More

The Thorpe fruit stand has a lot to offer. The fruit they sell here is amazing. It is fresh grown in Washington and has incredible texture and size. Some of the apples are as big as a softball. In addition to the fruit and vegetables there is a nice selection of gourmet foods here. The wines, ciders and beer for... More
