Went to the big emerald queen this morning about 8:00 a.m., I was amazed by the number of homeless people that were roaming around the casino aimlessly. It was evident, that some where tweakers and prostitutes. I encounter a few elderly people, (as well as my mother), who stated they have been harassed by these folks asking for money or... More

This is a smoking casino so beware. It is well ventilated though. The waitresses are very efficient and come around quite often asking if you want free drinks. The casino is quite large with 4 different rooms on the first floor. The dining is located upstairs and they offer buffet and sit down eating. I did not get up there... More

So, I visited the Emerald Queen Casino for a concert but had to endure the ratched, smoky, sullen-looking faces of its patrons in order to get to the concert showroom. Oh my! This place is depressing...if you're allergic to cigarrette smoke...DO NOT, i repeat...DO NOT attempt to traverse the casino floor. You won't make it! The smoke is so thick,... More

I really liked the set up of the showroom, I felt like I was at church lol It's open and you can pretty much see really well from any seat. I do hate though that people just stand behind the VIP rows so sometimes you cant see if they do that The drinks are quite spendy and not very strong... More

This was my first visit here but I came with people that frequent this casino. I was warned of how smoky it can be. However there is a non-smoking area where I played that was very nice. The casino didnt have video poker which I was bummed about but otherwise it was your typical casino. I like their program -... More

We enjoy the slot machines and the dining options - they have amazing Chinese food!! Some days are better than others for cigarette smell but they have non-smoking sections!

This place is unbelievable, the cigarette smoke is so thick in here that I thought that the smell would never wash out of my clothing. The lighting does not cut through the smoke enough to give the place a positive atmosphere. Instead of a players club, you stand in line to "clock in." After an hour of playing the machines... More

I was surprised by the intense smoke smell. The casinos I have been to lately (Clearwater, Point No Point) deal with the ventilation issues much more effectively. There really wasn't anything pleasant about this casino, including the games which were for the most part older games. Drive on by.

My boyfriend and I occasionally go to the EQC to donate some cash. We always walk through the large smoking area to the non smoking section. We went there last night and were so disappointed to see that quite a few of the slot machines had been removed. There did not seem to be any true penny machines either. It... More

It's a big place with a lot of this and that ranging from dining to slots, but we couldn't find an area we adequate ventilation. Even the non smoking had to much 2nd hand smoke. I doubt if we'll return.
