Found a groupon for this attraction and decided it sounded like a great adventure. We love cars, so were excited to see what they had to offer. We were not disappointed. The museum was not very busy when we got there, so we got to spend a lot of time talking to the volunteers who work there polishing and caring... More

This museum is superb and will be enjoyed by all who walk through the doors, car or motorcycle lovers or not. It is wonderfully designed, historically interesting and has many beautiful displays. They did not spare a dollar while arranging each section The lunch is darn good and the balcony overlooks the main floor while you eat. Worth a stop... More

My wife and I took our 6 year old and his school friend here on a Groupon deal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We declined a guide and looked around the main buildings on our own, then took the guided tour of the out buildings (a guide is required for this portion). There are many, many , many... More

We started out with a car show..All Triumph Drive in and got to go into the museum which I understand is not always open to the public. Enormous amount of great cars! We finished the day with a dinner on property. A fine day indeed!

This is the place to go and spend all day (actually, several days) to try and see it all! It's an old military school converted into a museum with cars stuffed in some fun places...like the school showers! And once you've made it through the school building, it's on to several other buildings where the cars are stacked on several... More

I could spend a week in this place, there are so many cars to see and so many stories behind them, Harold Lemay sounds like my kind of guy. I would recommend this place to anyone who has even a slight interest in automobiles or American history.

Wanted to see this place again after almost a decade. An amazing place with people there that really care about your visit. Hard to not think of this as the highlight of any trip. Not sure if I will be back, I hope so! Nice, unique gifts in the gift center so we bought stuff there, too. Great place. We... More

A very interesting museum with plenty of space for viewing exhibits and with the unusual ramp system inside from one floor to the next makes it very accessible for wheelchair users. Fantastic selection of cars and an interactive area for children Fun having free pic taken inside 1923 Buick. On one level NASCAR and F1 simulators which for $8.00 was... More

Cars - Cars - Cars - Motorbikes and gas pumps. This is a tremendous afternoon or morning point for tourists, like we were in Washington. Fully restored and unique vehicles, others in excellent used conditions and others needing much love and attention. There are just to many vehicles for the close viewing that many are stores in racks above other... More

Took my business clients who were attending a conference in Tacoma to this place for a little diversion between conference dates. The men and the women were just having a blast as they toured the many cars on display in various warehouses. The stories they told about their experiences in similar cars were entertaining and pleasant memories. Wish we could... More
