We moved to Tacoma recently, and saw The Lemay Museum advertised a lot of places, but it was in downtown and we didn't want to leave the dog at home to spend a few hours there so we hadn't visited yet. Then one day we were out driving and saw a sign in what looked like a park for the... More

My beau and I visited the LeMay Museum collection after I purchased an online deal. I initially thought the deal was for the LeMay Car Museum, which is a totally different animal. This collection is the personal collection of the family, set on many acres of what was once a Catholic school. The setting is spectacular, surrounded by trees. The... More

Zoom through the years and look for your first car and or maybe your grandfathers! Need more time to explore and see all that there is to see.

We took our 2 year old and he was so excited since he loves any kind of vehicle. The simulator looks really cool. We spent 3 hours there but we honestly could have spent longer. The cafe has good affordable food. Take a stroller for little ones. This place reminded me of my Dad. He loved cars. Great place for... More

Just like a previous reviewer, we got a Groupon thinking it was for the other place on the freeway. Since it was no good there, we bought tickets anyway and enjoyed ourselves. Flash forward a year and a half and our visitors return wanting to try the Marymount location. Again, our expired Groupon was accepted. this is a huge collection... More

Great preservation of a historic landmark to house and display some of the amazing private collections of Harold LeMay. Worth the visit, a must on any car enthusiasts bucket list.

Don't miss the Marymount Museum. This place is a car lovers dream. The day we went our tour was eight people or so. The tour guide was very informative & fun to chat with. There is so many types of cars to see. They do a big open house in early Sept that's fun. But a viewing at other times... More

Many moons ago we bought a GroupOn for the LeMay. When we decided to use the GroupOn, we searched for LeMay, found the other museum right off the highway in downtown Tacoma, and we were on our way. When we got there, they explained our mistake, implied the Marymount museum was quite a long way away, and so we decided... More

We spent a long morning at the annual open house seeing the LeMay Farm House. Took out of town friends and they loved seeing everything that the LeMay's have on display.
