This museum is closed. I never got to visit it, but the owner died, all the contents were sold and it won't reopen.

Mr. Carr's museum is just as interesting as Mr. Marjoriam's Emporium. So many unusual items and one of a kind treasures that he has collected through the years, such as Jackie Gleason's limousine. Enough there that you won't see it all on a first visit. It's a great place to see at least once. Watch for the hours of operation.... More

I've been wanting to see this place for a long time and finally got there. Their hours are so limited though, only open weekends from 1-3. What I liked: Marvin Carr's love for his museum shines through as he takes you on a tour around the huge room. He's a very nice man and has knowledge about old movie star... More

Definitely unique. Cheezy is pretty accurate. Probably something for everybody, whether you are into old or famous cars, beautiful porcelin, silly talking mechanical characters, taxonomically-prepared animals, or historical artifacts. If this sounds like something that would interest you, it probably will. I was a bit skeptical of some of the claims: "largest this ever captured," "oldest that" or "the only... More

Was there on a Monday. Nowhere in TripAdvisor reviews did it say this place was not open during the week. It was complicated to find from downtown Spokane, but disappointing upon arrival to find it closed. Even Tourism Spokane does not indicate the operating days or times. Too bad, as I looked forward to it.

One of the coolest, most unique places I've ever been. Mr. Carr's exuberance about his collection and life itself is contagious and worth the admission on its own. The collection is surreal and definitely one of a kind. His guided tour and his stories made my trip. I've told everyone in Spokane about this that I met today and no... More

Like most reviews, this place is kitschy fun! You need about an hour or so to see everything, and do yourself a favor and get a "guided" tour from Mr. Carr. The guy is incredible - he was giving us stuff to just "take" home at the end of the tour - amazing! It would be impossible to list what... More

Go see this.. Mr. And mrs. Carr invite you to 1950's hospitality and fun .. A must!!! The Mr of this duo is an enigmatic character with his own twists that probably should be swallowed with some salt... Ok a lot of salt but boy is it fun

We got a personal tour from the owner himself. He has a lot of really cool memorabilia that he has collected from stars, and all the stories to go with it.

Attended a fund raising dinner. It was fasinating to see the many cars, big and small. Great atmosphere, fun and uplifting. Everyone there seemed to be having a great time.
