This is one of the best examples of adaptive reuse of a building I have ever seen. When I visited Spokane in the 1990s I was always curious about this building. They have done a wonderful job of keeping this building and making offices, restaurants and stores inside this historic steam plant. There are many interesting architectural components through out.... More

The Steam Plant was converted into a multi-level restaurant, shops and office space over ten years ago. Since that time, the reputation of the restaurant especially has only continued to grow. Not only is the food exceptional, it was one of the first local microbreweries in town with an excellent lower level brew pub. In addition to open-seating dining, they... More

The steaks are excellent but it is the building that makes it a destination. The building is an old steam plant renovated into businesses and you can still see much of the old workings that give the restaurant it's charm and character.

The building is awesome. The food and beer is OK. Make sure you look around at the various rooms and go inside the stack. The food is just OK. The last time I was there was 8-10 years ago. Still about the same. Great decor, decent service and OK food. Quite expensive for the quality of the food.

Well we waited to be seated we checked out the old steam plant and an art show going on there. Once seated I sampled one of their local Huckleberry beers (yummy) before enjoying a fantastic meal.

What a great place to tale clients from out of town. Everyone enjoyed their dinners, the beer was fantastic, and the atmosphere even better. I recommend this place to anyone from in or out of town. Take a stroll around and soak in the history, too!

Even if you just go to look at the interior of the old Steam Plant, the food at the restaurant was much better than I had expected. Service was good, and the food was way above average.

My husband and I went to the steam plant for dinner. The pasta was amazing and the atmosphere was great! This place has a lot of history. If you want to take some time to have a nice steak and wine along with viewing every piece of the historic building. be sure to have some time because this place tends... More

We went here to see the steam plant. It was very interesting and you can go inside the big tower. It is a self guide tour. It doesn't take too long to see it and there is a restaurant there but we didn't eat there plus shops but the shops are closed on Sundays and Mondays so we couldn't go... More
