It is so amazing how you can go from shop to shop through the downtown area on the 2nd floor of all the buildings. You never have to walk on the streets. Maybe the first "mall"? must see for people ho love to shop. Too many stores with wonderful restaurants and movie theatres.

The mall and parking were easy to navigate. Across from the mall is a beautiful waterfront park. Beautiful viewing areas to see three separate waterfalls.

We have been to Spokane several times, but this was the first time we actually went downtown. What a great area. Lots of older building fixed up, great shopping and restaurants, and lots of parking. We will definitely go back and spend more time in this area the next time we are down there.

Spokane is quite the contradiction many older brick building in the old town , several amazing stone and brick churches. The area near the water front is in a painful transition from the 70's to current architecture. there is of course the largest Red Wagon in the world and thats cool.!

I'd never been, but enjoyed leaving the hotel and walking around. Lots of great eateries and shopping. The Macy's has a discount level, which was great for bargains. Would love to go back.

Western Canada gets a lot of TV stations from Spokane, which had led me to believe that the city was likely a long stretch of big box stores and discount automotive supply places and carpet centres stretched along a broad expanse of interstate near the Idaho Border. It is that too, don't get me wrong, but Downtown Spokane is definitely... More

Nice collection of stores for shopping as well as a number of restaurants to choose from. Parking can be a challenge but can be managed.
