Spokane has done a great job of cleaning up it's downtown core. Lots of botuique shops, trendy little restaurants and the requisite amount of old whinos. Parking is a drag. The best plan is to go directly to a parkade and spend the rest of the day on foot. This would be a great city for a blue / borrow... More

If you like homeless people and meth addicts this is the place to go. It is old and run down, there is hardly anything to do. You will not be able to find good local restaurants and shops since most business spaces are empty and the ones that are occupied are stuck in the 90's. I tried my best to... More

Downtown Spokane is terrible. People keep saying that Spokane is great because it is a small town with big city amenities. If crappy fast food restaurants and Wal-Mart are the big city amenities then I must be missing something. It is insane that there is not free parking. Very few people go downtown and thus there are miles of empty... More

Spokane is a perfect size. Lots to choose from and do, but not so huge that you loose your way and have to keep a map handy. You could, in this city, get a hotel downtown and have lots of fun without a car. Nature, city, music, culture, arts, sports. Love it!

The city is fun to see, nice walking areas, very scenic and generally a good time. Lots of places to eat, and lots of places to have a beer as well.

Downtown Spokane is a charming city. It is a mix of historic and modern architecture. The city is strikingly clean. The traffic is minimal and parking is easy. From the theatre to shopping to coffee houses, it is a great city!

Downtown is a fun place to visit, with the science center & the Space Needle, and so many shops to spend money in if you like to shop. Theaters, Symphony, Parks, Spokane has it all.

Downtown Spokane is a really nice "smaller" downtown area with lots of food, shopping, bars and music. This downtown seems to have something for everyone, day or night. Parking is usually a pain. Check out the rushing water at the falls. For some great drinks, check out Bistango Martini Lounge.

The only time I go downtown is if I have to. Too many punk kids on the streets, and I hate to pay to park my car. Lots more shopping and dining on the North side, and in the Valley, and you don't have to fear for your life. The police do nothing about this problem. Stay away...
