Downtown Spokane is lovely, there are many well preserved old buildings also lots of bars and restaurants, varying from cheap to chic. It did look a little bit intimidating in parts after dark though.

Excellent weather and nice low level city center. Nice Riverfront stores and real friendly folks in town. River is a great place to walk and ride. One way streets are confusing but easy to navigate. Davenport Hotael was excellent

Lots of eateries, shopping, friendly people and fun places like River Park Square with a movie house and large mall. Parking available in the mall. I have found that after dark Spokane unleashes questionable people that I don't feel entirely safe around.

Wide streets are nice, street parking reasonable with meters accepting credit cards, but the one way streets sometimes were not thought out well.

There are lots of shops and restaurants in the downtown area. The park has lots to see and do, especially for families. We also enjoyed walking down to the falls.

the downtown is still recovering from the economic down turn. There are still empty stores. The older restored buildings, bridges and the falls are definitely worth a visit.

There is a chic, pretty urban renewal going on near the trendy mall and Riverfront Park district. Beautiful flower baskets are hanging above. Walk a block or so the wrong way and you will witness the homeless shooting up on street corners (not alleys..literally street corners.) along with broken glass and used condoms. The city is very interested in the... More

I lice locally so I enjoy going "downtown" every now and then to see the new shops, restraunts and landscape. There's always some place new to check out and some long time surviving stores that make it all worth the trip! Not to happy with the increase in hoodlums the last few years, constant begging for money etc. Just keep... More

There is a lot to see and do in downtown Spokane. It is easily accessible on foot. It is nice to see the historical buildings being preserved.
