Great place year around

Great place to visit year around. Winter - skiing, snow shoeing, etc... Summer - hiking, mt biking, driving to the top - can't go wrong here.

The slopes are well maintained and have a variety of levels available. It's a good location to learn to ski. The lodge is just sad: dull lighting, dusty, tavern like appearance is depressing, and the food is just terrible, unless you like canned chili that's exceptionally expensive for what it is.. It's just a place to take a break from... More

Along the way we to Mt Spokane spotted a deer bouncing through a freshly cut wheat field. At first we thought he was heading for the road, but turned away and went back into the field. At the entrance we were greeted with signs stating you must have a pass or pay your fee. The entrance station building was closed,... More

Just wasn't worth the money. Being from Canada, we're slightly spoiled with the mountains here, but this one was terrible. The snow was more like ice… My private ski lesson was taught by a man who was probably one of the founding father's of America. Wasn't worth the money at all.

Wonderful trails, a gorgeous view once you get up to the top, but the rock house on the top could be more fun if they offered drinks and snacks there.

A great place to go for an extended hike. It is easy to get to and you can have spectacular views of the Inland Empire. About an hour drive from downtown Spokane but definitely worth it.

Drive to the top for a great view of the area, but it was a little scary in a few sections near the top when passing the downhill traffic but I had the inside thank goodness. There is also some very nice trails for hiking on too.

Mt Spokane is one of my favorite mountains for snowboarding. The terrain park is a lot of fun and the different runs are not too hard to maneuver across. Even with the horrible winter we had this past year, I still had fun up at the Kan. A great place for a first time snowboarder. I also love taking my... More

Very pleasant park with different difficulty levels of hiking trails. The hikes have views, wild flowers, streams, and the huckleberries were ripe at the higher elevations which was a pleasant treat.
