There are so many things to enjoy in the Riverfront Park. We biked all around the paved and easy trails and really loved going on the many bridges that cross the river. The park itself is well kept and beautiful. The old buildings and architechure around this area are very interesting and the falls with the gondolas going over makes... More

Riverfront park is beautiful & you can't beat waterfalls right downtown. I have home video from my parents at the World's Fair here & I'm not sure much has changed. There are parts that could use a refresh but overall enjoyable day spent on trails admiring everything. Love the clock tower too. Geese freaked me out a little bit due... More

Riverfront Park is a beautiful park in the heart of downtown Spokane. Since it was the setting for EXPO '74, the park has been converted into a user friendly park. The IMAX theater hosts many scenic and current IMAX movies. The gondola ride over the Spokane River Falls is something that should not be missed. In the winter there is... More

If you are visiting Spokane you need to visit Riverfront Park even if you only have 30 minutes when passing through the city! There is a carousel, easy access to sites of the river and falls and has a great enviornment to it. During different times of the Summer especially they have events such as the Hoop It Up Fest... The park is very well maintained since the World's Fair many years ago. They turned "skid row" into a wonderful park with a carosel, a beautfiul walk around the river and passes in front of Gonzaga University and well landscaped. the opera house has stairs right up to the river.

Such a beautiful park. The Clock Tower is amazing and what a history. So happy we had the opportunity to "walk through this park."

Yes, Spokane actually had a Worlds Fair on this site back in 1974. It was based on the enviornment. Before the Expo this area was a train depot/station and was surrounded by rusted steel. The clocktower left from the train station has become a Spokane icon, as well as the steel shell from the former U.S. Pavillon. There is an... More

Wow, what can I say? This park was great! Coming from Seattle I didn't expect to see this here. Way cleaner than the Seattle Center. Carousel was great, sky ride was fun but short. Had a nice time walking on a beautiful day. Get here early for great free parking on Sunday.

Interesting enough place to look around nice area to walk about in, there were a event or two taking place during the time we were there, the sky ride gondola's in the park was very short about 15 minutes which included four stops to take photos of the falls, plenty of areas for long walks along the Centennial Trail.

Worth stopping to take a peak. Beautiful falls, sculptures and many activities. Kid friendly area. We put on our 10,000 steps for the day.
