Loved how well tended the park is. The gondola was fun to ride. Flowers are everywhere. Imax theatre was fun. I attended the worlds fair 1974 here. It was nice to see the remaining things.

Lovely location right on the river. The sight of the Worlds fair. Great area to walk and explore. Don't bother with the skyride in the summer, way to hot inside.

I had no idea how delightful Spokane was. My hotel was six blocks from the convention center, so it gave me a reason to walk through the park morning and evening. It seemed that all kinds of Spokane citizens came out to enjoy this park. From kids squealing in a fountain, to the outdoor movie event, to just sitting by... More

We went here for our son. The only thing that was working was the fountain at the entrance. The gondola showed a sign "open every day" but was closed. So was the ferris wheel. It all looked old and was not comfortable. It was definitely not what I was expecting and very disappointing.

We brought some CAnadian friends to visit the park and they just loved it. The park is the site of the 1974 EXPO and has something for everyone. Photographers have lots to photograph, bikers, runner and just walkers have love paths to meander around. Kids have a marry-go-round and other rides to have fun on. There is a donut stand... More

Water rages underneath old pedestrian suspension bridge. People strolling, running, and touring the shaded, flowered lanes and several pedestrian-only bridges. Water-powered electrical plant from 1890’s powered streetcars and lighting

This downtown park is a must see when visiting Spokane. Views of the Spokane Fall's can be seen from various vantage points along the River.
