Summer would have lots to do. Felt safe and views beautiful. Went in March, was not crowded and close walk to shopping at Macys, mall, and restaurants.

At first I wasn't sure about Skyride but was very impressed. The ride lingers over the powerful falls and can open windows to feel mist from falls. Was there on a sunny, cold winter day and as a result, gorgeous rainbows. Not to be missed!

Riverfront Park is in downtown Spokane, and it is the best place for a good walk. The highlight is getting to the Spokane River and seeing 2 areas of waterfalls. There is big sound and many falls to look at. The river comes in a "Y" after the two areas of falls. If you wish for a cocktail while looking... More

Always a good place to walk through. Don't miss Huntington Park, the gondola, and it is truly beautiful along the river. Summertime is always good and you can pop over to shop downtown quite easily. Very walking accessible.

There are lots of paths and beautiful things to see in this park. I would like to visit here in the winter to see if the falls freeze over. The duck pond was very nice.....

Riverfront Park, located at the heart of Spokane, Washington, is a great place to bring one's family. There are a variety of things to do such as going on various kid-friendly rides (including a train and a sky ride over the falls and a famous Looff Carousel built in 1909). The scenery is great - from the variety of flowers... More

It was a bit rainy and cold, but it was a nice place to walk. There was art, the river, lots of people exercising and convenient to shopping, restaurants and hotels.
