I was living in Spokane when it was built for the 1974 World's Fair. What a great change from the railroad yards with the creosote ties and multiple tracks! It has matured, and the park is a very nice place to visit. It was pretty cool when I was there most recent so didn't spend much time, but took a... More

This park was so pretty and pleasant. We took the short gondola ride over the falls. It was a neat way to see them and take pictures. There were numerous paths through a pretty landscape of trees and rocks.

Gorgeous! We walked thru this park on an overcast Sunday morning and was surprised this park was empty- none of the locals take advantage of running/walking in the park. Don't leave without seeing this park- beautiful waterfalls!

We met with distributors at the Davenport Hotel and then walked to Clinkerdaggers through the park. The bridges, river, park grounds and public art were all lovely and uniquely interesting to our visitors who have traveled the world. It was a charming evening and the park was a keystone of our ability to build a relationship w/ our new business... More

RIverfront Park is right across from downtown and is very enjoyable during the day. It is a really nice place to view the falls on the Spokane RIver (especially during high-water months), meet friends for lunch, stroll the park, feed the ducks, ride your bike, take photos, and enjoy the plentiful grassy areas for families to play on, The grounds... This is a very large downtown park with fabulous views of a river that presents slow moving large pools followed by large crashing falls all within the park. Gondolas give you a breathtaking view of the falls. Lots of activities within the park and it is going to get even better. A multi-million dollar enhancement has just been approved. Wow!

I started at the corner of the park by city hall. It was a great place to see the river and the hydro generating station. There were lots of park staff doing odd jobs so you are never too far from anybody. I found some benches over looking different areas of the park were great to sit and take it... More

Impressive thundering waterfall! Also a carousel to ride, food, and kiddie rides. Great bike and walking trail too. Lastly, a gondola takes you over the waterfall in a sky ride.
