We've been to the riverside park for festivals and normal weekdays - this place is so fun and relaxing on a sunny day. We like to walk (you can go for miles along the river) and sit by the water in a sunny spot to watch people and birds. The Falls are awesome (and somewhat scary) and there are several... More

A great park in the downtown area. It was the site of the '74 World's Fair / Expo. It is best in the spring, summer and early fall with lots of activities and events. The carousel is great for kids of all ages. Parking may be tough, so plan on using a nearby garage if it is busy.

Big - Clean - Green - Park!! Lots of space to find a quiet spot, jog, have a pinic or... see an imax movie, ice skate in the winter, gondola in the spring as the falls peak or enjoy the horse carasel on a summer afternoon. This park has entertainment year round. Pig out in the park is a local... More

My favorite place to take families with children who are visiting Spokane is the Carousel in Riverfront Park. To me, it is a great testimony for Spokane to have preserved this treasure. Young and old alike enjoy either riding or observing the beautiful painted animals or children catching the brass rings. Of course, the BIG red wagon is fun for... More

Nice place to take the family. All it has to offer needs to be updated. Parking is pricey and a challenge. Like most parks with attractions, they are expensive. Beautiful river scenery.

The park was a pleasant walk from our hotel and it was fun to watch the river rush over the waterfall. We also admired the carousel. Any child would love to ride it.

We had a one day stop in Spokane during a trip through Washington and ended up wandering throught the park for part of the day. The grass was well kept and the shrubs were trimmed to perfection. I have paid to go to places that were just one step above this, Spokane takes pride in it`s downtown area.

It was a cloudy and rainy, but this gave us a nice "summer" feel to our cold spring day! The kids AND adults in our group enjoyed the carousel and the walk along the water.

I was in Spokane for business several years ago. I remember riding by this park and almost jumping out the car with excitement when I saw that big red wagon! Definitely one of the best memories from that trip!
