This park has really matured over the last 40 years since Expo 74. The tress are taller, there are more walking paths across the Spokane River, and there are plenty of green areas to relax in. You feel as if you are in a historic part of the city going back to when the City was called Spokane Falls.

Lovely setting and shaded, paved walkways. I took a short walk across the footbridge from the hotel. Nice view of the river and well-placed benches. One can continue walking a reasonable distance and shop downtown Spokane.

This is a really nice place to visit, though more is open during the summer season than in spring or winter. The park is open during the week in the spring, but the attractions may only be open on the weekends. That said, there is still plenty to see and the falls are spectacular. When you get hungry I recommend... More

Riverfront Park is a primary development adjacent to downtown Spokane. If you love waterfalls, this is a place to be. Take the gondola ride over the falls. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy as the waters rage. Bring your bike or take a walk on one of the trails. Plenty of picture opportunities. Great place to spend an afternoon.

Beautiful park. Spend an afternoon. Take the gondola over the falls and look at or ride the carrousel. Good bike paths. Interesting that private money supported the development of this space. A most pleasant afternoon.

Went here to see The World's Largest Radio Flyer Red Wagon! With a built in slide on one end, steps on the other. When we got there, it must have been graduation as there were many young people in the bed of the wagon, some with cap and gown, having photos taken - must be a tradition in the Spokane... More

The park is located on the river and that is the very beauty of it. It has beautiful boardwalks, well maintained trees, bushes and flowers. It's so relaxed to just stroll, take some pictures and enjoy the view. At some places there are nice pictures and explanation of the history of the riverfront.

We took our 3 grand kids to the Riverfront Park and enjoyed the train and the merry-go-round. A must do while in Spokane!

The great attractions are the waterfalls, which are really beautiful, you can criss cross them walking over hanging bridges, but there are different continuing parks that connect, for shade refuge, or playgrounds or calm water with geese, water fountains where children get wet, carrousel and gondola over falls. Since this is all downtown, there are plenty of places to detour... More

It is a good place to walk, jog, run, etc. There are things for everyone to do. Imax Theater, Ice skate in winter. There are many rides during the spring, summer and fall. It has many places to eat. There is a children's museum and The Flour Mill is within walking distance. It has many shops in it.
