Great scenic trails

I took my daughter as part of her photography project for school. The scenery is awesome, and the trails give excellent views of the river.

We stayed in a tent site, which are limited (I think there were 4 or so) but there were several spots for RVs. Make sure to make reservations in advance. One annoyance is that the campsite was near a... More

Pick what you want to do. From the Centennial Trail for hiking and biking to a riverside walk this is a absolutely beautiful place to visit. Something for all four seasons. We always enjoy visiting this park.

I love this park for its beauty, variety of hiking trails, and many different environments. The park HQ is a great place for picnicing and viewing Spokane River, especially the Bowl & Pitcher; camping is ok. I think the most attractive place in the park is the Deep Creek area, a little know natural wonder with many historic hiking trails... More

Important note: a number of reviewers made submittals here about Riverfront Park, a city park in downtown Spokane, not here. This attraction is Riverside State Park, a few miles northwest of downtown, which features the "Bowl and Pitcher" landform. Also, I did not camp here, so I'm reviewing the "Bowl and Pitcher" area only. I noticed some large camping areas... More

Checked off another thing on my bucket list, to see the giant wagon. Not only can you see it, you can climb up and slide down! Evidently, it is also a traditional place to have graduation pictures taken. The rest of the park is very lovely with lots of walking paths, a merry-go-round, concerts, tram rides across the river and... More

Beautiful walk and jogging track, however half the park is currently blocked off for the Chinese Lantern Festival ($17 admission each)
