Pretty dull between Kennewick/Pasco and Ritzville. Then, at Ritzville, 395 shares with Interstate 90 into Spokane. (Note: Unless you REALLY have to go potty, avoid the eastbound... read more

Spokane is a great city and definitely worth a visit. The people are great, the city is beautiful, and driving along Highway 395 affords wonderful views of nature. Definitely visit!

Beautiful drive!!! There are mountains in every direction and lots of old red barns. You're guaranteed to see wildlife.

Highway 395 is 556 miles long. We have enjoyed many drives along Highway 395. As one gets into Spokane, it one of the most northern most cities on the route. We drove the section from approximately the Tri-City area of Washington to Spokane this trip. It has scenic views in some sections such as forests, etc. In terms of my... More

I travel this highway between Spokane and Chewelah almost daily. While it has some great views, especially at sunrise and sunset it can also be dangerous because of the poor driving habits in selected areas of the road. In the winter the maintenance is provided by several different counties and you can tell the difference. There are some great restaurants... More

Pretty dull between Kennewick/Pasco and Ritzville. Then, at Ritzville, 395 shares with Interstate 90 into Spokane. (Note: Unless you REALLY have to go potty, avoid the eastbound Sprague rest area on 395/I-90 between Ritzville and the small town of Sprague. It's kind of a scary rest area. The wesbound Sprague rest area is fine though, if you are heading that... More

This is a gorgeous highway filled with lovely sights and unique homage to the Native American tribes who originated and settled around that area. Bring a camera. But this is also one of America's most dangerous highways. I wouldn't advise night travel, and always be on the look out for deer and other wildlife.

It isn't there yet, but when 395 is completed it will be amazing. Even as is, it is nice to be able to avoid the traffic on the North side of town. As someone who drives Hwy 395 daily, I appreciate what a great road it has become.

395 North of Spokane is mostly 2 lane a pretty dangerous but gorgeous. I hate driving it in the winter!! It is completely opposite of 395 between Ritzville and Tri-Cities which is great road but boring scenery.

I lived in Chewelah 17 years, Loon Lake for 3 so I know HWY 395 pretty well from Spokane to Colville. I drive 395 3-4 days a week. Some nice views, lots of Pines and Farms, a nice drive out of the city with small towns for a lunch or picnic. South of Spokane is mostly 4 lane now, so... More

this new section of the North South Freeway is OK, the state did not justice by eleminating any access from HWY 395 south to Hwy 2. haveing to get off one freeway to get onto a nother freeway by going through two stop lights is plain stupid! Will never see this Freeway finished in my lifetime, this 6 mile section... More
