My husband and I had the real pleasure of visiting the Jimi Hendrix memorial and gravesite in Renton, Wa just about 20 minutes from downtown Seattle. It is a beautiful memorial, tastefully constructed and it is FREE to the public and easy to access. It is a must see, even if you are not a huge Hendrix fan. I am... More

It was so peaceful. Not an elaborate cemetery. We were the only people visiting Jimi's grave that late afternoon and it brought a solitude that washed the soul. A few guitar picks had been left for the great Jimi Hendrix, other than that, just the walls with various lyrics and drawings of Jimi. We sat for a while, reading and... More

We decided to stop by Jimi Hendirx's memorial since we had a car and some time. It was pretty cool. It is in an Asian gardens and his memorial is right in the front when you pull in. We were the only ones there until another father and son pulled up. My favorite part was that there were crayons there... More

This is a very tasteful and moving monument to, arguably, the greatest rock guitarist ever. The monument is engraved with Jimi's likeness and lyrics. This is certainly a must see for Jimi fans Only about 15-20 minutes from Seattle.

We stopped here on a recent trip to the Seattle area. The cemetery is well kept and the Jimi Hendrix Memorial is easy to find because of its' size. Plenty of room to park and walk up. Just something we always wanted to do because we are Jimi Hendrix fans.

Spent many afternoons sitting in this cemetery... Just communicating with the people, living and passed. Very spiritual place. Very spiritual calm and serene.

This was a trip that I had planned for a long time. I just wanted to say I been there but I wasn't too emotionally excited being there.

As one of the most progressive guitar players in history, Jimi continues to influence other musicians and pick up new fans along the way. It was great to have a place to consider all the things this talented legend means to me. It's a personal experience, and worth it to enjoy such a beautiful, well-maintained space. One of the highlights... More

I enjoyed my visit. I especially liked the engraved lyrics as originally written in Jimi's handwriting. It was tasteful and respectful.

Very interesting and felt incredible to see Jimi's grave. It was a dry but cool weather day when we went and it felt amazing to see this iconic man, "Jimi" his grave. Such an honor to have it in Renton, WA.
