What a great trip we had; the family run business is very customer oriented. We took both the 4 hour trip and the Friday Harbor cruise; both we absolutely wonderful. On the 4 hour trip we didn't see any whales and since it is a guaranteed trip we received vouchers to come back. The Friday Harbor cruise was full of... More

We had a wonderful time. The staff is very friendly and you can meet some really wonderful people on board. This was my second trip. A few years ago, my daughter and I took the trip with a lunch stop on the San Juan's. Although it was a beautiful trip, the only wildlife we spotted was a bald eagle. We... More

Purchased 3 tickets. We all had a very informative & incredible sight-seeing trip. We will all definitely buy more tickets in the future. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable & extremely friendly, not to mention most accommodating. The equipment was very modern & updated. The passenger boat was extremely fast & powerful, the fastest in all of the West Coast. We... More

It was a very good trip. The tour got off to a late start because of a bad wreck on the Interstate that had many who were signed up delayed in traffic, but they communicated with everyone and let us know that we'd be leaving a little late. I thought it was nice to wait on those folks because if... More

We booked our trip last minute and we're glad we did. Drove 2 hours from Kent to Port Townsend and the drive alone was well worth it! The staff is experienced, super friendly and knowledgable. We saw a lot of whales on this trip and the scenery is amazing. I highly recommend using Puget Sound Express if you want to... More

The boat ride was great, the scenery wonderful and the narrative was informative. The guide was interesting and definitely knew his science. I was disappointed that the puffins weren't out, but almost every species of bird was. The Harbor seals barked ceremoniously as if greeting us. Their large bodies almost covered the entire rock and they glistened in the sunlight.... More

My travel club chartered Puget Sound Express for three days as transportation from the mainland to the islands, and also as our sea life observation experts. They were very friendly, professional, and gave us great value for our money. These young folks are locals, so they know the islands, the history, the sea life, and the ecosystem quite well. We... I absolutely loved it. We were lucky enough to see a lot of whales but the scenery alone was amazing. The staff were kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. Top notch experience.

Puget Sound Express departed Port Townsend on the boat "Red Head" and we had saw Humpback whales, and a t Protection Island we saw seals and sea lions. It was so exciting to see the wildlife and I got a few amazing photos. Be sure to bring binoculars and put your camera on "continuous shooting mode" if you can. My... More
