My husband and I traveled from Colorado to join this wonderful trip. Captain Pete and Sherri are a phenomenal team and did a great job hosting us. They shared their vast knowledge of the history and wild life of the San Juan Islands and surrounding areas. Food was delicious and accommodations were amazing. They made us feel welcome and right... Fine seaworthy vessel with excellent viewing from inside as well as on the deck. Unusual and savory lunch. Interesting narration about the islands and wildlife. Unexpected treats and ports of call. Sarah Whelchel

Captain Pete and First Mate Sherri are an awesome team. His knowledge of the history, geology and wildlife in the Puget Sound is extensive and explained interestingly and with humor. Sherri's warm welcome and personal attention throughout the 3 day trip made it a wonderful experience. She went out of her way to include my 9 year old great nephew... More

This boat was great. It was warm, comfortable, served snacks and informative. All our four grandchildren enjoyed it. The best part was seeing two whales for twenty minute cavorting in the water and showing their flukes. Even when we didn't see whales, we enjoyed the boat ride.

My husband and I planned a trip to Port Townsend (our first) around a gray-whale-watching tour. It all worked out fine and was very enjoyable, but I'd like to give an account of our experience by way of warning. Their website does explain that the trip will be cancelled if enough people do not sign up. I was surprised that... More

Having been on several whale watching excursions (Alaska, South Africa, Australia) I can say this was one of the best. It was a relatively small group and as a wildlife photography enthusiast I never felt like I had to maneuver for space. It was easy. While the captain was knowledgeable and personable, it was the assistant, Chris, who made the... More

The experience was great from booking to the minute I walked off the boat. Saw 2 kinds of whales, porpoises, and 2 kinds of sea lions. Staff so personable. Blueberry buckle & coffee deal are wonderful!

Thank you for opportunity to join you for the first whale watching trip out of Edmonds. My three girls and I had a wonderful time. Not only was it an educational experience, seeing and learning about grey whales, but it was thoroughly enjoyable all around. From the moment we stepped on board, we felt like we were part of the... Spend my birthday with my husband and 5 kids ages 4-13 taking the Gray Whale watching trip. We all had a great time! The crew was amazing and let the kids sit up top with the Captain. The Trip took a bit longer than normal because the whales were playing hard to get that day. We were glad we went... More

My husband and I did the Port Townsend – San Juan Island Whale Watching Tour in mid-September of 2014. It’s a full day on the water that includes two hours mid-day in San Juan Island’s Friday Harbor. We really enjoyed the tour and are so glad we went. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the captain went out of... More
