My husband and I recently had the pleasure of taking a three day nature excursion with the Dungeness Audubon club on the Puget Sound express. We went out of Sequin to San Juan Island and stayed at the Roche Harbor resort for two nights. The boat, Glacier express, was extremely comfortable and there were many little extras that made the... I have just returned from a three day Audubon-sponsored bird (and whale)I will watching event with Puget Sound Express. Our group numbered about 40 and we all had a great time! Pete and Sherri are superb hosts and shared with us their knowledge, as well as their gracious hospitality. I also appreciated the care and respect shown to the wildlife... More

The sites and sounds of the gray whales were fantastic this past weekend. Service was reliable, timely, informative and safe, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our half day excursion with the Puget Sound Express. Visiting historical Port Townsend was just as enjoyable.

Well the weather was frightful but had to cross this off my bucket list while in the Puget Sound area working at the Naval Base for an extended stay. Managed to go on a weekend and we saw a Superpod, which they say is very rare. There were three or four whale families in a whole bunch. This was amazing.... More

This was the second time I went on a whale-watching trip with Puget Sound Express and both times the trip was awesome! We saw a couple of humpbacks as well as Orca's. The hospitality on the boat is great--particularly the Blueberry Buckle coffeecake!

This is an excellent trip from PT. We saw a number of orcas as well as other animals. For us the only downside was the lengthy lunch in Friday Harbor (not my favorite place.)

My girlfriend from Oklahoma had always dreamed of a trip to the Pacific NW to see whales so we found PS Express and had an unbelievable day. We did a lot of research to find the right whale watching outfit, and weren't disappointed. The Captain and crew just couldn't have been more professional and accomodating. We could hear the other... This company falsely advertised that they had guaranteed whale watching and that they were successful in seeing whales 98% of their trips. What they purposefully failed to say was that the 98% success rate was no longer true and that certain fish the whales eat no longer frequest the sound where the company searches for whales and thus their success... John, we're truly sorry to hear about your experience from a few months back. This was actually an above average year for whale sightings, but more of these sightings were of transient orca whales (who eat seals), vs. the southern resident orcas (who eat salmon). This viewing profile was likely due to the decreased 2013 salmon run in the Pacific... More

I have taken the full-day whale-watching trip at least 6 times and I have never been disappointed. Even if we don't see Orcas, the crew goes out of their way to find other interesting wildlife and/or scenery to explore. The owners and the crew are all the most customer-friendly I've ever experienced. They do everything they can to help ensure... More

We recently took the 4 hour whale watch tour and unfortunately there were no Orcas to be found that day, though we did see seals and a minke whale. None of the other boats out on tour found any whales either, so given that this was the end of the season, this is the chance we took! The experience still... More
