This is the place to go if you sell your car or boat and need to register it, want to get marriage license, or do any other type of legal matter. It is a lovely historic building. One note, you must enter the building from the side and not up the beautiful majestic steps in front.

This is a beautiful old courthouse, and we could not help but admire it. You can see it from many areas around town. It was built in the 1890's and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The county keeps the court house in relatively stable condition, some of the ceilings look like they are in need of repair. The building is a pretty good thing to visit for tourists though at least architecturally, most of it like the Post Office hasn't been reworked since it was built, or gussied up for that matter, so you can... This is a wonderful place to see old Port Townsend. You can stroll the halls and check out the views from one of the oldest court houses in Washington. The architecture is awesome, worth a few photos.

It's quite imposing and you can see it quite well as you come in on the ferry. To me it has almost a Victorian look but it is apparently Romanesque. Stop and take a look if in Port Townsend.

This is a wonderful building to look at. Go and check it out and just enjoy it's beauty. A work of art, but watch out for the time, if it is on the hour or half hour, the clock bells are really, really loud.

Incredible Historic building at the top of the hill. Only saw this from the outside on a weekend, right when the sun was going down. Quite the structure. Stop and take a good look at it.

You can't miss it ! This is a very large gorgeous historic building , built in the late 1800's . It sits on a hill(uptown) overlooking Port Townsend Bay ...gorgeous views. This is where all county business gets done . The clock tower is lit up at night too , and bells ring to announce the time . Right down... More

This old Victorian building is a beauty to behold. Drive around it and enjoy how well it was built. The inside is dated and needs some upgrading, but that does not detract from this centerpiece for Port Townsend.

Old building, Fast service. A Courthouse with class. And the staff is helpful. Amazing. Jefferson County is small but a great county to live in.
