This was my second time on Orcas Island but my first time on the biplane. It is well worth the money and my favorite tour from all of my travels. It was a bright sunny day and viewing the San Juan Islands from above was just incredible. Rod was an incredible pilot and tour guide filling up every minute with... More

My son and I were visiting Orcas Island a few years ago and we saw the bi-plane at the airport. I had always wanted to ride in an open cockpit plane and we jumped on the chance to do so. It was a really great experience. What a wonderful way to see the San Juans. I would recommend it to... More

I talked my wife into going on a biplane ride, to get an aerial tour of the San Juans Islands. When we first got to the hangor Rod greeted both of us and he loaned us a couple of jackets for the ride. Neither my wife or I are advid fliers but Rod took the worries away. Rod is an... More

Rod, the owner and pilot, made sure the flight was unforgettable. If you want to see the San Juan Islands, from an amazing vantage point and perspective, you cannot beat flying over them in a biplane! It is a unique experience, with an open cockpit and front seat view. Simply: AMAZING!

This was a highlight of our trip to Orcas. The views from above of the islands are beautiful, the commentary by Rod is fun and the experiance of being in the open cockpit plane is unforgettable. I was nervous at first since I am a nervous flyer even on commercial planes, but Rod calm and reassuring manner had put me... More

While spending the weekend on Orcas, we happened upon the little airport. We saw a sign for Magic Tours and went in to inquire. The hanger is full of airplane memorabilia. Rod was super nice. Explained how everything worked and what the experience would give us. We agreed, put on our yellow jackets..climbed onboard and then he gave us leather... More

My husband organized this plane ride and when we arrived at the hanger, I was stunned to discover we would be flying in an open cockpit plane from1929. I felt like the Red Baron. After I calmed my nerves, I found the flight totally enjoyable with Rod's continuous, usually humorous, description of what we were passing over, who had lived... More

Went to Orcas Island for a couple of days on vacation. Splurged with these flights to tour the San Juans. Though a short flight, we got to see a ton that we wouldn't have otherwise. Extremely professional, fun, knowledgeable, and personable pilot/owner. I am a nervous flyer but felt very secure. This is a really special tour. If you can... More

My wife and I flew with Rod our pilot in June 2012. The open cockpit made for an exciting and exhilarating experience. He was very knowledgeable of the San Juan Islands, their history and current and past ownership. This trip should be on everyone's "Top Ten" bucket list of things to do. The sights of the San Juan Islands were... More
