We had a family reunion at the Environmental Learning Center inside the park. It was the perfect location for a big gathering. They have a great commercial kitchen with all the dishes, pots & pans & utensils you might need. There is access to Deep Lake (which is actually a very shallow lake). 8 canoes, 4 paddle boards, a row... More

It's an OK park. We camped there many years ago but sites are not private. Too much traffic in the camping area by day users. Facilities are basic and sometimes not clean. The lake is picturesque and is a popular swimming spot. Fishing is ok but you must have a boat, no fish around the dock or swimming area.

Let me start by saying that the location is excellent. Very large park, great lake and plenty of activities, they had an small amphitheater that hosted movies. However, as camping goes, people are right next to each other and there was no privacy. I agree during the day and right up to 10pm it is quite loud. We had people... More

There are plenty of snakes in the water here, but otherwise this is a great place to go have a relaxing picnic with the family or friends. Just be sure that you pick up your trash when you leave! Leave it nice for someone else to enjoy.

The trails are well maintained and easy to get around. Just need a discover pass. We had a great time.

Over crowded, loud, full of kids, and EXPENSIVE! We looked at the wrong price online (I mean you'd think the tent camping would be lower than RV camping...) and when we got there we discovered that we'd have to pay $24/night instead of @$12/night. We than asked if we could use the $12 campsite and was told that that space... More

The park is a good place to camp or to picnic. Not much grass so get used to dirt. Had small picnic with family.

We stayed here in our tent trailer at the end of September and had a great time. I was suprised tht the RV sites were almost full on Friday and Satuhrday. My kids had an awesome time biking the trailer loop, and I appreciated that I could see them while they zoomed around. The park was clean and the campground... More

We didn't stay there. We visited the hostess. The park has a largte lake where men were fishing It is a beautiful, well maintained park with many tall fir trees and rhoddies. There are no septic hookups but a septic dump is available. I would enjoy staying there in my RV.

Just your adverage park, the lake is not the cleanest. I have never been able to catch a fish in it but rafting is kind of nice.
