Classic boats, wooden tug boat you can actually tour. "The Sand man " 100 years old, open most days for a tour. Great history of Oly. Fair like atmosphere, nearby restaurants. There is also nearby walking trail.

We've been a few times here to enjoy the fresh air and to people watch. Easy to grab a coffee or a bite to eat any time. At weekends added attraction of Farmers Market and free parking Last year we took the opportunity of visiting the "Sandman", a historic barge which looks like it is being refurbished by the docents... The total experience of the boardwalk, lake walk, good restaurants, play ground for children, makes this area one great place to visit. Nice view of the snow covered Olympics and the Capitol. And, don't forget the Farmer's Market when it is open Thursday - Sunday. Get a treat and listen to local musicians. We enjoy the whole experience each and... More

Nice park to visit. It was clean and well kept. It is a great place to see the Olympic mountains, the state capital building and a glimpse of Mt. Rainier.

The little park was great, our kids were having a great time until trashing people started swearing, using the toys, and just acting inconsiderate! We left to go walk on the boardwalk and found 2 seperate groups using drugs out and blocking the walkway. Not somewhere I want to bring my kids again. Too bad too because it could be... More

Stop at the grocery store and pick up a burrito or a scoop of ice cream and take it out to the boardwalk and let the kids enjoy the bay. The walkway is screened and there are benches and it's safe and scenic. Loved the area. Children's park/playground nearby.

It was just an interesting history of the area. It was nice in the middle of the winter to take a stroll

This is a walkway, on dirty water, with bad sculpture. Some of the docks have been condemned. Enjoy the view and avoid the oil and other litter in the water.

This was a great stroll and there appears to be a gem hidden every corner to make the walk interesting. There were a lot of art pieces to keep me interested and a nice stroll that takes you all the way to the capitol.

I wish the whole area was the same as this gracious space. I am talking about the whole north point being so. That would be an excellent space to enjoy. Alas, enjoy what you can.
