The Olympia Farmers Market is a delight and a highlight of the downtown area. It is almost impossible to leave without finding a delicious combination of fresh fruits and vegetables to take home, or enjoy on your drive. Plants, fruits, flowers, and vegetables are featured, but a variety of farm and some craft items are available as well. The main... More

We enjoy visiting the Farmer's Market in Olympia, Wa. They have a great choice of food vendors. During lunch time, we sit in a covered area and are entertained by musicians on the stage. The fresh fruit and vegetables are reason enough to go to the market, but they also have choice cuts of meat and seafood. There are many... More

Local produce, lively music, excellent food carts. a uniquely Olympia experience on the waterfront. Second only in size to Pike Place Market in Seattle.

Olympia has done this right. The market has a permanent structure built just for the market. Inside is a cornucopia of crafts, produce, plants and foods...including a meat market, bakeries, and a fish market. Outside the buildings are more produce stands and a row of take out restaurants that offer a variety of wonderful food choices. Grab your lunch and... More

The Olympia farmers market it's a quaint location with many booths. Local vendors sell their goods and there are various food choices on site and even music on weekends. A great place to spend a relaxing afternoon. It is also located very close to the Olympia waterfront for a nice waterfront stroll.

This is one of the best I have seen anywhere in the United States. A permanent structure covers most of the booths, and those booths are filled with a cornucopia of delights. Fresh food in season, local crafts year around, pastries, sea food and local meat fill the eye with delights. During the summer, you find face painters and balloon... More

The oysters, oh boy, the oysters! Even if you didn't plan to, you will end up eating a meal here, either sitting for real and enjoying a dish from the darling vendors, or merely munching here and there yummy goodies which abound. I am coming back for the "Ru-Paul" (iced tea, lemonade and lavender syrup) I couldn't try this time...... More

I have enjoyed this market on and off since it opened. It continues to captivate me. My friend and I met here last week end. We both thought the offerings might be sparse since it is towards the end of gardening, but it was chock full of goodies. There were bins and bins of apples, pears, lots of squash, lots... More
