Apparently you have to pay in advance and if happens that you can make your reservation, you will get no refund! At least a motel will usually give you a time for cancellation and not be charged. Wow, what a way to make money!

I find all WA state parks too expensive for what is available. RV sites are good but not spectacular. Nice and close to the ocean with easy access which makes it a fun area.

We had a great time flying kites, having a fire (100 feet from dune line), riding bikes on the sand, and driving on the sand. At the beginning of July don't expect hot weather but it was pleasant and beautiful!

The rangers were great and very helpful; Generally the park itself is nice The big downside was the lack of drainage for the rain we had.
