Great place to see the surf crashing, especially during a storm. We stopped here and enjoyed the views. We love the Washington coast and this was a great place to watch it. Bundle up on windy days though. It was cold when we were there!

The waves crashing over the rocks give you quite the feel for the power of the ocean. Its horrible parking situation is worth dealing with though...beautiful view of the ships heading in to westport area as well.

Silence all around, music of ocean tides, clean sand and sunrise. What else would you need to make your weekend great and calm. I really loved this place and would try visiting once again. Only hitch is that they do not have restrooms.

I loved it! It's a wonderful place to go and watch the waves crash against the rocks. You can even walk out quite a ways on the jetty depending on how high the water level is. There is also some smooth sand close by to play in. We saw a lot of pelican flocks flying over the waves too. Make... More

Love this beach. The ocean waves are very powerful here. The views are amazing. Climbing up on the jetty and enjoying the views are spectacular with the occasional set of waves that can splash you. Could sit here and watch the waves all day long.

Amazing powerful waves during high tide. Very dangerous when the tide us coming in. Be sure to use caution then. The jetty provides a nice protected beach area. You can walk north quite a ways along the beach. But during high tide the waves can wash right up to the cliff nearby so pay attention to the tide. Plentiful parking.... More

Pounding surf, amazing driftwood and a jetty made from huge slippery boulders. It was a beautiful sunny day and lots of people were flying kites or playing in the fine sand. If you are in the Ocean Shores/Quinault area don't miss this spectacular view.

The waves crashing onto the Jetty rocks were neat to hear and great for pictures. You can climb onto the rocks but be very careful not to get to close to the waves it can be very dangerous. Saw several people fishing off the rocks. They only have honeybuckets for bathrooms. Lots of birds, pelicans, seagulls etc.

A great beach, it doesn't have the horse droppings of the more northerly beaches and the sand is better for sand castles. Plus you can explore the rocks on the jetty and tide pools if you get tired of the sand and surf. Very fun!
