we loved it here. We couldn't believe that we just sort of stumbled across it. The stone jetty wasn't crowded and there wasn't any cars or rubbish on the beach. The wind was quite strong when we were there so didn't stay too long. The beach was clean and just seemed to go on for miles.

This is where we would have spent time on beach if we knew it was there. We saw several different species things in beach such as starfish, crabs, sand dollars, drift wood that the made teepee out of. It was so much fun and I learned what a jetty was.

Fun beach that's a little less crowded than the other spots. My husband enjoyed trying to fish from the jetty and I sat and relaxed on the beach and read a book. You get a great view of Westport!

Terrible beach!! Not worth the drive.. Trashy and everything in the entire town is run down.. There are no decent restaurants, vehicles all over the beach leaving trash and the restrooms when you can find one are absolutely disgusting!

Unlike further north up the beach. , nice to NOT have vehicles idling down the beach. And drift logs aplenty to lean against/climb/sit on. Please use caution with kiddos that might feel they must walk on the jetty, huge boulders and crevices to match. Fisherman appeared to be snagging fish on shrimp from jetty.

Stopped by to see what all the great reporting was as to the north jetty- especially since we found Damon Point and that would be hard to top. The jetty is nice, a great gateway to a nice beach walk... yet it is not the best walk in the area- IMO. we walked for an hour, sun, light wind- what... More

high tide is great--climb around on the jetty rocks; low tide is even better--search for pools of water left in hidden areas having various left-behind sealife waiting for the tide to return. lots of parking, portapotty, garbage cans--please use them!

We came out to walk the rocks and look at wildlife. It isn't an easy trek, but amazing when you reach the end. I wouldn't recommend it for younger kids. The climbing is a bit difficult and there are holes between some of the rocks that drop down about 6 feet. Allow an hour or so to get to the... More

Every time I visit Ocean Shores, I head south and visit the jetty area. It gives me a quiet place to relax that is also near the coastline. A short walk takes me to the beach where I'll sit while those with me can clamor on the rocks while I enjoy the sandy area instead. The area there is less... More
