Pounding surf, amazing driftwood and a jetty made from huge slippery boulders. It was a beautiful sunny day and lots of people were flying kites or playing in the fine sand. If you are in the Ocean Shores/Quinault area don't miss this spectacular view.

The waves crashing onto the Jetty rocks were neat to hear and great for pictures. You can climb onto the rocks but be very careful not to get to close to the waves it can be very dangerous. Saw several people fishing off the rocks. They only have honeybuckets for bathrooms. Lots of birds, pelicans, seagulls etc.

A great beach, it doesn't have the horse droppings of the more northerly beaches and the sand is better for sand castles. Plus you can explore the rocks on the jetty and tide pools if you get tired of the sand and surf. Very fun!

The jetty is a must see experience! At certain times of the year you can see orange or purple star fish clinging to the rocks at low tide! Also, I witnessed a pod of whales very close up while at the jetty! It's such a beautiful place for fires, beach combing, and climbing. Dogs are allowed on leashes. If you... More

I love Ocean Shores. Especially in the summer. It's warm, but windy enough that you dont feel the heat. The water is Blue and the waves are just a little cold. But it feels good. Great place to build a Sandcastle, have kids play in the water and fly a kite or 2 or 3. Also great to just drive... More

This is incredible as a quieter area of Ocean Shores. Check out the lodging in this area. The jetty offers a wall of course where waves can be dangerous but to the right of it lies the open sea and the beaches are the best for walking.

This is the place to go for great views and a walk on the beach! The Jetty helps to protect you from the wind but you can still fly a kite!

The jetty itself is pretty cool with the waves crashing on it. This small beach seems to be popular for weddings, but I sure wouldn't want to be married there. There were at least 100 dead seagulls laying on the beach in various stages of decay. Not sure if they died being slammed into the jetty or what? But it... More

My husband and I love the jetty!! Perfect for storm watching with waves crashing against the stone barrier and splashing high above as you sit snuggled in the safety of your car or on a warm summer day with crystal blue skies and brown pelican overhead! (Be sure to bring binoculars if you have them.) The beach is only a... More
