Located approximately 25 miles north of Seattle, The Future of Flight...

Located approximately 25 miles north of Seattle, The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour is the only public tour of a commercial jet assembly plant in North America.

Explore the interactive exhibits and displays in our 28,000-square-foot Aviation Center Gallery; then take a 90-minute tour of the Boeing plant where you can watch 747s, 777s, or 787 Dreamliners being assembled right before your eyes.

There is a minimum height requirement of 4 feet (122 cm) for children participating in the Boeing Tour. To avoid disappointment please make sure to check height before purchasing tickets. This restriction is strictly enforced.

ADA accessible tours are offered twice daily. Call in advance to ensure proper accommodations.

In the Future of Flight Aviation Center Gallery, the Family Zone is home to a number of different activities, all designed around a theme of aircraft manufacturing and assembly. Activity carts let visitors build a simple aircraft model, or use our Lego (and Lego-compatible) pieces to express new ideas about aircraft design. A kid-sized airport and aircraft allow future pilots of all ages to practice their take-offs and landings. Currently, the Family Zone is also home to a highly engaging, hands-on nanotechnology exhibit, and our new Bernoulli Table, an exciting interactive experience that teaches the relationship between the velocity of air and the pressure it exerts. Coloring and reading activities are also available, and drop-ins are welcome. Admission is free for ticket holders and for Future of Flight Foundation Members.

The Boeing factory has to be seen to be believed – it is immense. However, that size does mean that the tour, which is really just a couple of viewing areas high up in the facility, feels quite detached from what is going on below and you don’t really get the full experience of plane building. Our guide was only... More

Huge grounds, but not a bad walk at all I'm amazed at how these huge planes and getting bigger can transport un around the world in a matter of Hours!! a flight simulator on sight would have been appropriate to have to add some excitement to the visit.

We really enjoyed it here. We arrived for a dinner and dance fund raising gala, and we spent some time outdoors looking at some of the aircraft. There were nice historic tidbits written up about the planes, and they were informative and, in some cases, pretty funny. I plan on coming back to spend some more time with the planes.

The Future of Flight Aviation Center and Boeing Tour is both interesting and informative. It is amazing in that the planes actually look small when inside the building, which is the biggest building in the world. Boeing owns the building but leases the land that it sits on. Cameras and cellphones are not allowed on the tour, so save yourself... More

Do you remember, when you were a kid, and you built model airplanes? This is just like that, except the airplanes are waaaay bigger. I've clocked a lot of miles on the 747 and to see them under construction is a rare treat reserved for those of us in the Pacific Northwest. Boeing has this tour-thing down to a fine... More

I recommend this to everyone who visits Seattle. It is fun to see all those big airplanes and how they are build in their factory. The tour offers interesting facts about how Boeing came into business. I love airplanes so the tour was really worth it.

I was in Seattle for only a couple of days, and decided I wanted to take the plant tour. The museum itself is small but interesting, with quite a bit to look at and read, but the tour is really where it is at. The plant buildings are absolutely massive! It feels as if you are wandering into a dream,... More

If I could point out the one thing I liked the most about my family's winter vacation in Seattle it was the tour at the Boeing manufacturing facility. The tour guide was excellent, and the tour very interesting and well coordinated. Our teenagers loved it too. It's exciting to see how the planes are manufactured and learn about the latest... More
