My boyfriend and I rented a cabin in Leavenworth and on our last day decided to do some shopping in town. This was one of our first shops we went to and we could not have been more pleased. They let you sample a bunch of different cheeses before making your final decision. They also sell Kinderschokolade to my delight!... More

one would assume a cheesemongers shop would be full of cheese....but not so. Disappointingly small selection- good but fairly mild plain cheese types. Plenty of great wines and other accoutrements including cold meats and sausages, but more like a very small deli when it comes to fresh goods. Nice location, crowded, but small offerings...

This is my first stop when I come to town and the last stop before going home. Staff is excellent! Lots of cheese to choose from, it's hard to decide. Prices are reasonable.

This is a cheese shop with excellent varieties to sample. But, don't pass up the meats they also offer. The owner is usually present and engages the customers in a friendly way. This shop is located downstairs from Front street but well worth the effort to look for it.

This little shop in the basement was packed when we walked in. They have a large assortment of cheeses in the case, and will give you a sample of anything and everything. They also have some smoked meats and sausages in the freezer, and a fair selection of german beers by the bottle. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.

Visited over Thanksgiving Weekend, so a bit crowed. Yet the staff was overwhelming in need of assisting each and every customer. I was afforded the delight of tasting each choice prior to finalizing the purchase. The staff are both knowledgable and willing to assist.

We dropped down into the basement to this cheese shop. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful and gave us many tastes of a variety of very good cheeses. We brought home several for gifts and for personal consumption. They have half the area for a wide variety of beers as well.

Great little shop. Offered free samples. Most of the cheeses were great some were odd but worthwhile trying. Did not expect to buy anything but left with several types of cheese. Made a great lunch from the cheese and other local purchases.

You could spend a bit of time here tasting all of the great cheeses. The staff is so friendly and happy to offer suggestions. This is the place to pick up something good for a cocktail hour at your hotel, or treats for a picnic. Lots of beer and wine to choose from as well. We loved everything we bought... More
