Good Nordic ski options while visiting Leavenworth

Discovered this park for us during the time. What a hidden jam near Leavenworth! Lots of wonderful activities for small and big kids. Close to town. Safe environment. Great prices.

If you go after 10:30am you can expect at least 25-35 minute line wait per run. Cost is 18.00 per person for 90 minutes which seemed fair, but they admitted to many people and we enjoyed 3 runs total before the session was over. Dress warm! Fun, Great guys running the tow line.

On the one hand, this review is a little unfair because we didn't actually make use of the hill or its facilities. It might be a fine hill to ski and the tubing might be grand, but we'll never know. We decided to bring a gaggle of kids up to the hill to tube one afternoon -- December...between Christmas and... More

My husband and two boys (ages 13 & 15) wanted to take a quick snowboarding while on our trip to Leavenworth, WA. This is was a nice small his that had two tow ropes. The boys had a lot fun playing around on their boards. Be sure to bring leather gloves to protect your hands and snow gloves (there is... More

We were there in December and there wasn't a lot of snow yet. We wanted to X Country ski and eventually found two places. The confusing thing is that we went to the Leavenworth ski hill where there is the downhill slopes and it wasn't open. Their website said that the Nordic areas were open but we didn't know where... This place has so much to offer in the space it has. Some in our group did downhill skiing, others snowboarding, snow shoeing, and downhill tubing. I was one of the tubers and I was so excited to do this I could hardly stand still. Bear in mind, I recently celebrated a Medicare birthday and I could hardly wait to... More

I spent the day in the early spring of 2015 walking the trails. There were alpine flowers and the first spring leaves on the trees. This is a great place to walk and then have a picnic. Also in this area is a out door stage where The Sound of Music is acted out. Check with Leavenworth Web site a... More

Welcome back in time! This is a great place to visit with miles of cross country groomed trails, small downhill runs for kids/families, a tubing run, and an adorable chalet from the 1930's a la CCC. Wow. All run by a local non profit club. Don't miss this is there is snow and you like to be outdoors!
