Nothing to dislike. The trails are nice, there are ample places to get down to the water. We just missed a small group of bear cubs. We came upon another family who told us that a 3 baby bears were just clambering around in the bushes. Anytime you see baby bears, you have to be very careful and vigilant. Mama... More

We went when the weather was warmish--in the 60's. The walk was easy, peaceful and beautiful. We didn't see much fauna, but the water was very picturesque. We took it rather slow and it took maybe 90 minutes to go around the whole walk.

It has nice trails along the river and at the entrance at the bottom of 9th Street there is a small playground for children.

Well-maintained trails and informative markers. Naturally beautiful and busy with wildlife. An easy hour with minimal exertion.

This place was so beautiful, we took 2 hikes in one day! Lots of walking trails right along the waterfront. If the sun is shining, you can see the reflection of the mountains in the water. We'll be headed back for another hike here before we leave.

Beautiful. Serene. But vandals have tagged it & broken necessary iron railings. Needs tlc to be excellent once again.

Located on the river in Leavenworth, very close to downtown, this is a chance to do something less touristy than visiting the many (neat) shops. We particularly enjoyed Blackbird Island.

We spent a bit of time each day we were here in January a couple years ago with our dog walking the trails of waterfront park. Easy access near our hotel (Obertal Inn) and a nice walk, even with snow and ice. It was neat to see the cross country skiiers using the park so much also. If you want... More

View, but spring thaw was here with mud and mush on the trail to river. Friends loved my photos of the peak overlooking the river with afternoon sun on flowing water. Worth trip penguin walking over some icy patches and mud to get to bit of beach

The park itself is very nice, but there was a bit of snow on the ground and it was pretty muddy. I do love the walk, though.
