Did you know more calendar shots are taken from this water front walking loop! From Eagles to seasonal vistas, to salmon to paddle boarders. This is a photographer's dream. Never walk though with out the lens or sure to miss the "Money Shot." Remember early morning or dusk for best light and birds.

Arrived in Leavenworth quite early so went for a walk down by the river; nice views and very pleasant. A little dusty due to the lack of rain. Some peace and quiet in contrast to the touristy town just above you!

Great place to sit and relax or take a walk around one of my favorite places. Also great place to end your rafting trip on the river.

We took a leisurely walk along the path at the park. Was very dusty due to the lack of rain this summer but we enjoyed it. Lots of wildlife with great views of the river.

Tubed down the river using Leavenworth Outdoor Center. Well worth the $22 each. Plus they give you a token for 20% off of food & drinks at the Dog Haus Brewery!!

The Farmers Market was in progress Sunday after noon with music on the bandstand. It was a lovely afternoon! Yes the fires made for a lot of smoke in town. We still thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Waterfront Park is the perfect place to escape the heat and crowds downtown Leavenworth when travelling in the summer. The tree lined paths are well maintained and provide shade for a cool down. If you wish rafts can be rented outside the park a gentle float down the river is sure to cool you off.

Great park along the river with plenty of places to take a dip if you are inclined - summer of course.

My husband and I were in town for a two day "sanity break" and visited the Waterfront Park for a mini hike past the remains of the old sawmill pilings and ponds. The Wenatchee River which flows past the park is at an historic low and the remains of the pilings are very very visible. If you're in town, and... More

It was 40C the day that we went to Leavenworth and it was extremely exhausting. We had two small children with us and we discovered this park by accident. There were great playgrounds and places to go wading etc. It is a bit of a walk from downtown, but nothing too terribly strenuous.
