Beautiful views and tons of snow! We would have walked the whole park if we could but we were on a time constraint. Through the foot+ of snow, there was still a nice trail to follow and we were able to make it down to the water.

Beautiful stroll in the park especially with your loved ones. Make sure to bundle up in the wintertime and watch the bears !

We went in January when it snowed non-stop. We took our Golden Retriever for a walk and he loved it! We followed the trail to our best ability, but the snow was feet high. It was still really nice and had wonderful views.

This is our favorite place to walk in the snow. Its meanders along the river and offers some spectacular scenery. The best time is before 10 before people show up. Even then its extraordinarily quiet considering how any people come to Leavenworth. There's always ducks and kingfishers and occasionaly a otters. This trip I also saw a coyote run across... More

This is a great park for walking, running or biking. There is a small beach for young children and the views the entire way are world class. You can enter the trail on the waterfront or drive north and take the cruiseline exit on the magnolia bridge where after winder down small street you will find free parking. It is... More

Be sure to visit while in Leavenworth. The scenery makes it all worthwhile. We are looking forward to a visit in the summertime.

Best time to visit Leavenworth is in the winter! We visited the weekend before Christmas and this is the place to go. While you will need all wheel drive and chains to get here, it is well worth the effort. We had a magical time exploring the waterfront park. It was very crowded but still amazingly beautiful with the 1-2... More

We absolutely love how the town leaders of Leavenworth have designed this gem of a park near the center of the Bavarian-themed hamlet. You can view wildlife and great foliage while getting some great exercise as well. The river walk is one of the best in the state. Outstanding!

My daughter and I were waiting for the Leavenworth Christmas Light Festival lights to go on and went exploring outside. It was heavy snow. Saw some other people walking toward this area, my daughter and I saw the sign and paths and went exploring. It was magical in the heavy snow and breathtaking! This park is worth visiting in the...
