We were very lucky to be in town when the salmon were migrating upstream. Watching them creating their nests and jumping out of the water added 20 minutes to ever walk 'thru' the park. Highly recommended activity.

Beautiful walk along the Wenatchee River. Salmon upstream ready to spawn, fly fishermen, beavers swimming, just a lovely walk. Trails are dirt, plenty wide with a number of small beaches and spots to stop. Great break from the shopping.

This is a lot of fun here during Oktoberfest. Live music, vendors and don't forget L Bow the Clown for the kids.

This is a lovely retreat just moments from the bustle of MainSt. Leavenworth. Child and elderly friendly paths wander along the riverfront and depending on the season, a cool oasis from the summer sun, or a place to enjoy winter sun along the river bank. A number of access points allow easy access back to town

This is an easy nature walk accessible right from downtown, and or there is parking at the start of the walk. Level walking with maps along the way to show you where you are. You can decide how long you want to walk from1/4 mile to over a mile with views of the river right there all level.

This park in the center of Leavenworth is absolutely beautiful. Flowers in full bloom, an art show in tents across the street from the shopping. Everything is clean and well kept, a reminder of the lifestyle in Germany where everything is clean and flowers in every window. I look forward to returning to Leavenworth during the holidays!

Woodland walk to the Wenatchee River. Stunning views across to the Cascades. Clean Restrooms. Loved the views, the ease of access to the river and the convenient free car parking. The possibility of seeing a bear ( a rare event) added a frisson of excitement tinged with fera!

We included a walk through the park in our day visit and glad we did. Peaceful and enjoyable walk through trees and along the river. Variety of paths of different routes and lengths. Several access points.

The park extends along the Wenatchee River about 2 blocks from town center. Trails through dense forest with great river and mountain views. Foot bridges connect with Blackbird Isand and more trails. Some swimming/wading areas in summer. There is cross-country skiing available in winter.

We enjoyed the waterfront park very much. Took numerous pictures as this runs along a river and then has a small walking bridge that connects it to a little island where you can keep walking and enjoying all the beauty that surrounds it.
