Woodland walk to the Wenatchee River. Stunning views across to the Cascades. Clean Restrooms. Loved the views, the ease of access to the river and the convenient free car parking. The possibility of seeing a bear ( a rare event) added a frisson of excitement tinged with fera!

We included a walk through the park in our day visit and glad we did. Peaceful and enjoyable walk through trees and along the river. Variety of paths of different routes and lengths. Several access points.

The park extends along the Wenatchee River about 2 blocks from town center. Trails through dense forest with great river and mountain views. Foot bridges connect with Blackbird Isand and more trails. Some swimming/wading areas in summer. There is cross-country skiing available in winter.

We enjoyed the waterfront park very much. Took numerous pictures as this runs along a river and then has a small walking bridge that connects it to a little island where you can keep walking and enjoying all the beauty that surrounds it.

Great place to stroll along the waterfront or ride your bike. Depending on the time of year you can see loads of folks tubing down the river (or join them yourself).

August is 2/3 done for this edition of earth's journey around the sun we call 2014. It's 80-83 degrees in Leavenworth, WA. It's filled, and I mean stuffed with tourists.... Northwest US, California, Canada, places east of the Mississippi I haven't even heard of. The sidewalks were packed, OommPah music playing. Right out there.... in front of our Worldmark condo,... So peaceful to walk along the river. It is very well kept. Many benches and picnic tables, also a play area for kids

We stumbled upon this park as we were walking through town. The art center was closed, that was shame but the paths through the forest along the river were very nicely kept up. We had 2 beautiful days at the beach, were we could have our dog go for a swim. Super easy walking and great for all ages.

Just stumbled upon the Waterfront Park trail during an early morning walk. It's nicely shaded and stroller-friendly. We walked it several times during our stay. Nice views of the river and trees.

Great place to get out and stretch your legs after a big meal or for an early morning run. This park has a couple of trail paths that go along the river with some wildlife and park areas along the way. Nice place to walk and can be easily accessed from downtown shopping or hotels.
