Not a big park, but a nice break from shopping

Just outside of La Conner. Small, family and picnic-friendly park. It was nice to go somewhere quiet, listen to the water and see the trees. Definitely worth the 3-minute drive... read more

It is a scenic bridge crossing high above the Swinomish Channel. You can stop on the west side of the bridge and look over the sights below of the historic La Conner Waterfront to the North and the Shelter Bay Community to the South. It is a good place to take panoramic pictures of the area. But it is, after... More

Very close to La Conner. Great photo location of water, La Conner, and nearby Swinonmish Nation. Bridge needs some TLC to bring it back to its true beauty. Small road winds through local park down to water's edge. Also good photo of bridge FROM riverside La Conner Boardwalk looking back at bridge.

Bridge overlooks La Conner Channel. Gives photo opportunities. Provides access from one side to the other. No trolls in sight.

A landmark and nice place for kiss and group selfie. A challenge for walking over, recommended regardless of the narrow walkway. Good views from either end.

Viewed the bridge and waterfront from a restaurant on the main street. Wished I had time and a sketchbook to record the views of the harbor, fishing boats, docks, etc.

Just outside of La Conner. Small, family and picnic-friendly park. It was nice to go somewhere quiet, listen to the water and see the trees. Definitely worth the 3-minute drive out of town to take a break from shopping. Here's an idea -- pick up sandwiches, chips, cookies, etc, in town and have a picnic in the park!

This red metal arched bridge - along with the picturesque waterfront - is the most notable icon in the pretty town of La Conner. Attached photo taken from the Channel Lodge shows both. Posters have mentioned driving, walking, and canoeing under the bridge, but I suggest you try cycling over and under it. The route to it through neighborhoods and... More

I both drove over it and kayaked under it. It is a pretty bridge and offers a nice view of LaConner but it is not something I would consider an attraction. It just happens to be a cool part of LaConner :)
