We reserved a spot on a sunny hot summer afternoon for this 1.5 boat ride on Lake Washington. The breeze off the lake kept us cool as we cruised along the lakeshore viewing large homes and floating bridges and celebrity homes. The narration also includes some history of the area, the lake, the floating bridges, and some of the people... More

After moving here (years ago), we took the Argosy boat cruise leaving from Kirkland. LOVED it! A few years later, we bought the season pass -- LOVED it and ALL the rides available for that. Last year, we rode again . . . and LOVED it. Every time is a pleasant surprise and a great ride around the lake. I... More

The usual walk along the lake. Beautiful beach, Gates`s house ... Nothing special in it do not see. Excursion to the Tolga monastery on the Volga, or go in a boat near the walls of the Kremlin more interesting and more beauty. But the city of Kirkland is very nice place, almost a resort town.

Spent a wonderful hour and a half on Lake Washington. We (three ladies) went on a Friday afternoon on the 4:00 cruise. Made the reservation online the day before. The earlier cruise was already booked and I would recommend making cruise reservations online at least a few days prior the day and time that you would like to cruise. Tickets... More

You get some good history of both Seattle as well as its eastern suburbs along with some sights that tourists who stick to downtown Seattle miss out on. Departing from downtown Kirkland (about 25 minutes from downtown Seattle with moderate traffic) the boat's route starts by going south past Kirkland's waterfront parks, Yarrow Point, Hunts Point, under the Evergreen Point... This city can be described as relaxing, peaceful, fun and enticing. If you are looking for a place to chill out without the hustle and bustle, a place to site by the water and read, a place to sit and sip your coffee, a place to watch the ducks paddle in the waters, this Kirkland City is just the right... 90 minute tour of Lake Washington aboard the Lady Mary, leaving from the Kirkland Dock at 1:30. Boarding was easy. Lots of seating upstairs, downstairs had seats and large round tables. Drinks and snacks available for purchase. A very nice running commentary on the lake, many of the homes, the area...all in all a pleasant and not too expensive tour.

We took the 3:30 PM cruise on a Monday afternoon. The weather was perfect, but the cruise was not crowded. Parking was easy 2 blocks away for $1 an hour. Cruise goes by some famous seattle properties, the homes of Bill Gates, Howard Shultz etc. beautiful views of Mt Rainier, UW, and several waterfront neighborhoods. The ride was smooth, and... More

I booked this cruise as soon as I found it available. You can't book it too far in advance. We got to Kirkland early to find a close parking spot, and to have lunch and enjoy a pleasant afternoon in the park waiting to board. This is the way to see fireworks at the gasworks park! The boat ride there... More
