I took my young cousin for a walk in the park. I talked with her while pointing out the turtles on a long, the various birds and the bald eagles. I chatted with her for 5 minutes before I looked down from the elevated walkway and realized there was a great blue herring a mere 2 feet away right in... More

What a beautiful and well maintained park! And large!!! Boardwalks go out over the water. We saw birds, turtles, fish, and beavers! Dogs are welcome 'on leash' (as they should be), and it is a great place to bring the kiddos! Bring a picnic lunch and a frisbee, and you can easily make an afternoon of it!

This is a great community beach, much improved by Kirkland since it took over ownership from King County. The park has been here since the early 1900s. Great place to see wind surfers when the wind is up.

Not to be mistaken for Jaunita BEACH park, the Bay Park has nice long boardwalks into the slough and out to the lakeshore. On a good day, you can see basking turtles, beavers, eagles, nesting ospreys, big frogs, woodpeckers, herons, and maybe even the nutria. Wrap up warmly, the wind off the water is chilly, but the best viewing is... More

This park is breath taking and the whole are, the city and its surroundings and Lake Washington are proof that God exists. How can a big bang make for so much beauty? This is a good place for a romantic walk but I experienced a major problem: in one hand I had a rather large bag of dried tropical fruit... More

This is a park that can serve many people the paths are wide a the slope is not to steep. People with strollers or walker will find this place to their liking. We saw many different types of birds and with no leaves on the trees it was easy to spot them. The trail goes down to the bay which... More

The picture shown looks like somewhere else to me unless it is one of the new street scenes being built up around. If you have a boat and are rafting, the neighbors don't like you playing your music.

If you look for a nice place to just walk and relax, that's the place. No rush, a lot of terrain to explore and enjoy with excellent waterfront views. Good restaurants choice.

Spacious beautiful vistas; a wetlands area; not crowded; nice dogs; plenty of benches. Nice to stroll, walk, birdwatch.
