Great walking place-on the water.

Like the setting. Avoid it on sunny weekends as it gets very crowded. I walk there year round . They close the toilets in the winter.

If you go in the morning, you are sure to see many red-winged black birds, green heron, and osprey. There are lots of trails, but my favorite is through the wetlands.

We have used this facility for years. It is great local wild life viewing during the winter migrating ducks and swans are visible, spring brings sunbathing turtles and more ducks. Summer brings water lilies and frogs, Autumn brings many bird species. Of course there are the bald eagles that rear young each year. Lots of plant life. Our 12 year... More

Nice and quiet with turtles and other wildlife. Close to Kirkland downtown and Juanita beach. Scrollable.

We stopped here one warm spring evening to enjoy a picnic supper by the water. The park has a large grassy areas, picnic areas, and paved walkways. There is a sandy beach on Lake Washington and a raised boardwalk out over the water encircling a large swimming area. There are trees for shade as well as open areas. A building... More

We visited this park (it is actually split into two separate sections along Lake Washington) twice, both times in the morning. The northern section includes an open u-shaped concrete pier in Lake Washington as well as a short nature trail into a small wooded area where Juanita Creek enters the lake. The southern section is significantly larger than the northern... More

This is a lovely park to walk through on a spring evening. The sounds of birds right overhead while you walk on boardwalks over the swampy edges of Lake Washington completely blot out the stress of the city. Just standing and looking up through the trees is sure to be interesting if you can be quiet . . . what... More

We bought good fish and chips, across the street; and had a nice picnic. The park is clean and well maintained.

It's a beautiful place full of bird sounds at this time of the year. We saw turtles, a lot of birds, fishes and even a bald eagle. I love how quiet and peaceful it is

Love how quaint, quiet and calming this place is. Perfect for walks alone or with your significant other. A lot of families visit as well.
