We went on Thursday. Got there about 11 am and there was no parking at all. We ended up parking on the street. It wasn't really a big deal. This street isn't super busy to the point that you need to be worried about the traffic and the kids. We had a coupon so for 2 adults and 1 kid... More

I'm nearly ashamed to admit I've known about this facility for years and until today have never visited. I guess I always figured it was a private collection of animals owned by some wealthy person. In other words, I've paid little attention to it. A plea from my visiting granddaughters this weekend prompted me to take them somewhere and so... More

Not only is this a zoo, but it is a place dedicated to preserving endangered species. It is small, but its purpose is clear: caring for animals. On Saturdays there are lectures on various species given several times that day. We were lucky enough to hear the lecture on cougars. This year there are baby emus and wolves, as well... More

My friend and I visited this place because I am a big fan of smaller, interactive zoos rather than large zoos where you can barely see the animals behind large grates. This place was just the ticket. Cougar Mountain is small, so there is plenty of time to keep going around with small children and you don't have to feel... More

We are season pass members and my 5 year old loves it. We can take short trips so that it is not overwhelming for him. He loves to feed the animals, watch the tiger feeding (1:00 pm) and finish up with the bird show (1:30 pm). I highly recommend it.

We loved this zoo! The location is beautiful and the view is just as nice as the zoo itself. The place is very well taken care of and the enclosures are nicely designed. We actually prefer this zoo over Woodland park. The zoo is pretty small but perfect size for a two year old and pregnant mama. The white tigers... More

Perfect spot to take young kids. Not too big so doesn't take much time to get through seeing all exhibits. Great for if you don't have much time. Tiger and cougar are awesome.

I like this zoo! Granted it's small and the enclosures are small, but keep in mind that there are a lot of exotic animals in desperate need of sanctuary's and there are not enough of them. So remember when you visit these zoos it helps pay for better habitats and expansion. So don't storm away, that does not help these... More

We go every year this time. Love the animals but not the price for getting in... very spendy day for what you get. Maybe over time they will be able to grow

Tucked up in the hills above Issaquah, Wa is a small zoo, that many in the Seattle area no nothing about. Cougar Mt Zoo has lemurs, big cats, alpacas, as well quite a few other animals all in a quiet country setting. Check it out!
