This is a State Park offering camping and access to a big sandy beach. I stayed here the weekend before Labor Day and the place was packed. They have two camping areas. One is right at the back of the beach. There are some typically stunted beach trees around but the sites are mostly open. The other is further from... More

I stayed at a walk-in site at Grayland Beach. This area was extremely quiet and well-covered (and if you forgot anything in your car, it's only a short walk out to retrieve it.) Very close to the beach, just over a ridge and you're there. You can hear the ocean roaring from the campsites as well. Weather can get cold... More

The sites are really nice. Location to the beach is perfect. It didn't help that there was a burn ban going on with the weather being cold and wet. That was the only bad part. Well almost the only downside. Sadly a mom lost her life with an accidental drowning which was incredibly sad. I hope the family finds peace... More

Excellent maintenance of grounds, landscaping. Lots of space, especially for a full-service site. Cement pads surrounded by grassy areas. Dense foliage between the sites - a good thing. Flush toilets. Paved roads. A short walk to the beach. Miles of white, fine sand. A bargain relative to a private campsite and well worth it. Kids loved playing in the waves,... More

Camping on the Washington coast is always so dependent on the weather, yet staying in a yurt at Grayland Beach State Park definitely takes some of the risk away. The yurts hold 5 people, with a bunk with 1 on top, 2 on bottom, plus a futon that can hold 2. When it is warm (as we had the fortune... More

Although this is on the "beach" don't think it's by the ocean :) After walking to the start of the beach, it's about 1/2 mile to the actual water, so be prepared. The facilities are great and well maintained. The yurts (we stayed in one) are very nice, although not really worth the money they charge per night. One thing... More

This is one of Washington's nicest State Parks for camping. We had site #74 down by the beach - just over the burm from the sand and beach. The beach sites are spacious and pretty private. The roads are nicely paved. The pads are mostly level and paved. The park is clean, the staff are polite and leave you alone... More

What a wonderful campground. Clean bathrooms, sites are tidy, yet lots of nice trees. Close to the beach. Just one complaint: don't leave your ice chests outside your trailer or they'll be gone in the morning! Several of our party, plus other campers lost everything from their gallon of milk, to their scooters! Would love to come back. Just hope... More

Took family for three nights. Enjoyed each and every day. Was able to let kids run and play safely. Our sight even had some privacy to it.
