They are known for their reds, particularly Zin and Cabernet. We went twice, once tasting in the reserve room (need to be a wine club member), and once in the regular room. Small tasting fee which is waved if you buy some wine. Great view.

We stopped to taste some wine and were not greeted, but asked if we were 'member's' and given a list of what they were offering and told it was a charge. The server who was helping us even took the wine list book from in front of me as I was reviewing their wines, closed it, pointed to the small... More

I have always wanted to go this winery, but have never stopped since it was so far out on the Columbia Gorge. So, since we were in Hood River, OR we decided to drive over to it. The temperature went up easily 10 or 15 degrees. It has beautiful views of grapevines, their concert venue, outdoor seating and a fountain... More

We attended the Willie Nelson concert, sitting on the patio. Dinner and parking in the on-site lot was included in the ticket. It was a little far from the stage, but we were in CHAIRS, close to a bathroom, and had servers bringing us beverages and our food. The "table" is actually sort of a bar that runs around the... I was invited by a friend to go with her to pick up her wine. The setting is absolutely beautiful. I left with such a good feeling about the area, that I went back the following weekend with another couple. We planned on buying a bottle of wine to drink while we were there, and we ended up buying 5... More

I had never signed up to have wine sent to me t any of the other wineries I visited, but I just loved this one so much... Loved the staff, their wines, the attention they gave us, their cheese and cracker tasting... If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and go try their wines. You will be... More

We stopped in on a friends recommendation and found a great winery! Was surprised to learn of their concert series too. We sampled lots of good wine and left with a case in the trunk !!

We visited Maryhill winery first in what ended up being 6 winery stops. We loved the antique bar brought down from Alaska. The servers were friendly and we had a long list of wines to taste plus some extras thrown in. Okay, it was not an elite boutique style tasting experience, but it was very nice. The $5 fee was... We stop by Maryhill Winery while traveling through the Columbia Gorge several times a year. You can have a tasting for $5.00 and then have that amount applied to the purchase of wine. I found a wine I liked, bought it for a relative for Thanksgiving dinner and they give you 7 different wines to try. Very nice people. The... More

I loved the view from the vine covered outdoor patio. You look out over the stunning Columbia Gorge. Of course the wine is wonderful too.
