Overview: 1. Huge parking lot with event parking - perfectly suitable for RVs 2. The parking lot is gravel, so expect dust 3. In the summer it is extremely hot - no shade trees, but the outside eating area is covered 4. The wines are average Washington 5. Bring your own food - it is perfectly acceptable, and you can... We went to a Styx/Foreigner concert and loved this venue! Beautiful views overlooking the Columbia. Super plush green grass terraced for seating and a breeze off the Columbia made for a pleasant evening in the heat. Yummy wine, and a portion of the wine proceeds go to the Heifer International Project, which I love. I can’t say much for the... More

This was my husbands and my second concert there. The venue is just fabulous. Lovely plush grass in the amphitheater. You can bring in food, blankets and such. If you get there during the day be sure to go to the tasting room. Lots and lots of wonderful wines to choose from. They have a very nice outdoor patio that... More

Went here last Saturday to see Foreigner and Styx play and the concert was just awesome, especially Foreigner. This venue has beautiful scenery and the light breeze coming up the Gorge kept it comfortable in the 90 degree heat. There are just some things they really need to work on and some they can't that prevent me from giving it... More

He told us that the library closed at 5:00 but he would serve us the special wine club members only wine anyways! Halfway through our flight... More

We drove over from The Dalles after we checked in at our hotel. The visit was recommended by our hotel check-in person. The parking lot was pretty full. The tasting bar was lined with people and many people were enjoying the patio with the nice view of the Columbia River and vineyards. The grounds appear to be well kept. The... More

Arriving here at 11 a.m., a perfectly acceptable time for wine tasting when you're in this area, we were glad we found this gem in a fairly arid region along the Columbia River. Beware about keeping foods and such in your car in summer, as parking is not shaded anywhere! For a measly five bucks you get to taste about... More

We really enjoyed this visit on Sunday afternoon. They have beautiful facilities and a world class view. We bought a bottle of Zinfandel, and sat on the terrace while we listened to a nice group play some very relaxing music. You can also purchase wine by the glass as well as cheese, crackers, and salami to enjoy this unbelievable view... More

16 miles east of The Dalles on Washington state highway #14 lies beautiful Mayhill Winery and amphitheater where summer concerts attract top name musicians. Seating on grass levels contoured into the hillside provides one of the truly great backdrops for any performance. The wine is award winning and the restaurant and tasting area stay open late. You won't be sorry... More
