Named "2015 Pacific Northwest Winery of the Year", Maryhill Winery is one of the largest wineries in Washington state, producing more than 80,000 cases annually. Perched on a bluff high above the Columbia River, guests enjoy breathtaking views of the majestic Mt. Hood. Located near Goldendale, Washington in the Columbia Valley AVA the winery is just a short 90 minutes east of Portland, Oregon. Family-owned and operated since 1999 and with New Zealand native Richard Batchelor at the winemaking helm, Maryhill produces more than 50 wines (over 30 unique varietals) with grapes sourced from a select list of growers in eight of Washington's AVAs. Maryhill's 3,000 square-foot Tasting Room draws more than 75,000 wine enthusiasts from around the globe each year, ranking among the top five most visited wineries in the state. Maryhill also boasts a 1,200 square-foot Reserve Room with a private courtyard, a popular vine-covered outdoor terrace featuring free live music every summer weekend from 1pm - 5pm and a 4,000 seat amphitheater that hosts a world-class summer concert series.

We were driving up to northern Washington for Elk hunting and my buddy suggested we stop by Maryhill Winery. I love wine so we stopped in. Wow, what a surprise. I'm not a white wine drinker but even their white wines were good. I loved their red wine and ended up buy a couple of cases to take home and... More

Had heard many positive comments about this winery and the quality of their wines. Made the trip to the winery this past Saturday and found out for myself what a beautiful location, awesome view, and good wines. We stood at a bar that was originally order from Sear's Roebuck back in the late 1800's. The only thing I felt was... More

We are Maryhill Club members that live approximately 2000 miles away. Came to the winery on a Tuesday - the reserve room wasn't open but that did not stop them from using this room for a busload of other visitors. We were immediately turned over to another employee. Their pours are 15 ml even though you are a club member... More

Amazing place. Lots and lots of fine wines. We tried about 8 on our wine-tasting, all so good. Bought several. Lady hostess was exceptional. Knew so much about each wine and wines in general. Not pushy which is always appreciated. Very busy place, all year long. Great view, overlooking the Maryhill 'arena' for world-class concerts. Will go back again for... More

Maryhill is not easy to get to but very worth the drive. The wines are good and the setting is amazing. Do a tasting and then get a glass and sit on the patio to enjoy the scenery.

Stopped here after visiting Maryhill Museum. We tasted a few wines and ended up with a couple of bottles of very good wines. The tour is worth while also. Very nice outside area with tables etc. We really enjoyed our visit.

We love visiting this winery because it sits overlooking the Columbia River and vast vineyards of beauty. The winery itself hosts a nice bathroom (important for long drives), tasting (if you drink wine), a little deli, a grape vine covered patio with plenty of tables and space for snacks and picnics, and even has a grass amphitheater for summer concerts.... Had never been there and had time to spend for a few hours. It's a drive from Hood River but we arrived at a quiet time. Had the tasting room and server to ourselves. We zipped through the tasting menu and brought home 6 bottles of different wines. The views of Mt. Hood and the river are fantastic. Their amphitheater... More
