We had a lovely day in and out of Gig Harbor with Captain Tom and a small group of others on the boat. The timing is wonderful for photographers, with later afternoon light (3:30-5:30 PM) illuminating the sights. Lots to see - animals, birds, boats, bridges, trains, and houses along the shore, pretty water and landscapes. We saw - seal,... More

We went out this past labor day weekend. The views were awesome, we had young kids (Age 1, 3) and they had fun watching the bald eagles, Sea lions and Seals. Loads of good information about the harbor and the ships, tug boats, structures and the view of Mount Rainer from the water is truly awesome! With the living social... More

I have been visiting Gig Harbor for over 40 years, and had a brother living on Wollochet Bay with a boat. My family and me still enjoyed this tour immensely. Capt. Tom was great and gave us all a lot of historical facts that I did not know, and provided a really fun afternoon. I would recommend this tour to... More

Capt. Tom had so much enthusiasm in showing us Tacoma's Harbor! Architecture, history, shipping, wildlife, boat styles...wow! Now I do see that two Pigeon Guillemots fly like two dive bombers, perfectly and gracefully coordinated.

We had an excellent experience and I highly recommend the tour. Captain Tom knows everything about the waterways, surroundings and history of Gig Harbor and much more. The guys from Ohio and Kansas were very impressed!

Captain Tom says his nickname is TMI Tom. I say no such thing as to much information on a harbor tour. This guy knows alot about the area and he is good people. Loads of fun!

Traveling through Gig Harbor, Washington, locals invited us to take the Tacoma water tour with Captain Tom on Destiny Harbor Tours. Personable and knowledgeable, Captain Tom guides his boat around the Tacoma harbor area with a deft hand while sharing the facts, the stories, and highlights of the area. Well worth the fee and time,... we would have taken the... More

My husband and I took our 3 and a half year old son on a tour of Gig Harbor aboard Destiny Tours. We had a wonderful time on the tour. We saw sea lions up close, a couple of eagles and the Captain gave us a history and description of things in the harbor and the Puget Sound. We would... More
