Decided to take the tour on a whim. Turned out to be one of the best decisions of the day. Wife's friend was visiting from Toronto. Best boat tour I've experienced. I have done one in New York (circle tour); Paris (not harbor tour); Tokyo; Baltimore; Solomon Island; Japanese lakes; etc... it's the combination of weather, scenery, guide knowledge, (maybe... On a recent trip to Seattle ,I enjoyed a great day with my daughter and her husband in the Gig Harbor/Puget Sound aboard The Destiny. Captain Tom is a lifelong resident of the area, and is full of many interesting stories and facts about this beautiful area. A trip well woth the time and money.

We had a fabulous time on the Destiny Harbor Tour! Captain Tom and his wife Mary were great hosts. It was a glorious day and we learned a lot about the harbor and the narrows. How awesome is it to be under that fabulous Narrows Bridge and hear about the history? I highly recommend this tour and as a matter... More

Simply one of the best tours we've ever taken ( and we tour a lot). We took the two hour tour. It was a highlight of our four days in Gig Harbor. Captain Tom was a great guide; the boat is big and very comfortable. Seeing the underside of the Narrows bridges and learning about the engineering that built both... More

Yesterday a friend and I decided to become tourists in our own region. We took the 6pm tour with Capt. Tom from Gig Harbor. I was so impressed with Capt. Tom's knowledge of the area (he was raised on these waters) and familiarity with many of the people and boats in the harbor. Not only did I learn more about... More

We absolutely loved our afternoon tour! Captain Tom and his wife Mary took the boat all around the harbor, underneath the Narrows Bridge, and seeing the beautiful scenery, houses, sea lion, birds, boats, and yachts, etc. was really fun. Captain Tom really knows the history of the area and we learned so much. The ramp down to the boat is... More

Captain Tom and Destiny Harbor Tours are a Gig Harbor attraction not to be missed. The boat is clean and safe. Tom knows the local history as well as current information about the Gig Harbor area. He shares this in an informative way throughout the tour. He pointed out wildlife along the way. We saw homes that could only be... More

Capt. Tom was awesome--very personable, informative, and attentive. My husband & I were visiting from Tucson, AZ, so the two-hour tour was the perfect amount of time to see Gig Harbor from the water and spend an afternoon touring the local area.

Had a beautiful day to tour Gig a Harbor and the tour did not disappoint. Spectacular views, and amazing show by many, many seals! Even a baby seal was spotted, which was so neat to see. Would recommend.
