Coffee and a book

We actually stopped in for coffee, but ended up shopping. Lovely selection. Fantastic staff. Like a little shop we visited in Nantucket.

I may have to start commuting from Boulder, CO to Orcas Island, WA just for the outstanding espresso that is served at this charming bookstore in Eastsound! My husband had it hot, I had it cold, but either way, the latte was just right! We shared a delicious, fine-textured, lemon poppyseed muffin to go with it. Did I mention that... More

Well-stocked with thoughtful titles and other merchandise. My coffee was very tasty too. Definitely worth a visit if you are in town.

Bibliophiles will love this small but fully stocked bookstore with a coffee/tea bar in the back. In the center of town and visitors who want to just lay on the couch and laze as they read and look out the windows at the incredible sights will find plenty of good reads here. Nice spot, they will order anything you want,... More

Books and some CD's, you can order an espresso and sit to examine a book for a while. Friendly and helpful staff.

Lots to find in this very nice book shop, including a place to sit and have tea. A nice children's area, we bought our Grandson a new book, lots of room and not crammed at all, a nice shopping experience

I loved the art book selection which featured books on how to sketch the scenes of the pacific northwest. My daughter loved the cozy children's area with a beautiful view. Cappuccino was perfect.

Every town wishes it had Darvill's. Great selection of books, magazines, games and puzzles for children and adults alike. Coffee, tea and local treats to eat make it more special. Sunday morning at 9 AM the New York Times was already there for the reading.

Sometimes you can feel how much personal care goes into making your experience specially good! Darvil's gives us a sense of home, matching our favorite places to hang-out in Santa Barbara. The book and magazine selection, and coffee and other drinks and goodies are superb.

The San Juan Islands are a mix of sophistication and rural beauty, and Darvill's bookstore is representative of that culture. The latest fiction, travel books, history and current events mix with the art and crafts of island life. The owner is a long time resident who can inform a visitor about Orcas and the other islands, as well as about... More
