One of the most breathtaking and enjoyable, yet one of the best kept secrets of the Pacific Northwest. This quaint, challenging regulation and WSGA rated course, now 50 years old, has all the nuances required by both amateur and professional golfers. It offers excellent Astoria Bent greens, well designed tees and fairways plus dangerously positioned water hazards, all surrounded by beautiful evergreens, abundant wildlife and the magic of Orcas Island. « less

We were driving around the island and we had some time to kill so we thought we would stop and hit a bucket of balls each. This was a lot of fun! We rented one club for $3 and I don't remember how much the bucket was, but it was cheap and we laughed at each other because none of... More

People who play manicured courses with all the niceties over 36 different holes ought to bypass this family owned and run course. But if you want a perfectly fine small course with some serious challenges (most of the course goes uphill and is often very wet) in a beautiful setting, have at it! Very nice fees and everything the casual... More

Spending a week on Orcas Island and we decided to play 9 holes. Oh well....welcome to the island that really does not include good golf. The course was a borderline 9 hole course although the greens were in good shape. Cost including rental for walking was $40 walking.

I was on vacation up on Orcas Island for my second time and went and played there. This was my second time playing there, but the first time I played there was about ten years ago, and it was an ok place to play but not the best. This second time though was a whole different experience. It was nice... More

Group of 27 golfers handled superbly. Interesting little short course with plenty of variety and grand scenery.

If you golf you might want to miss this wast of money. What a shame as it was much better before the new owners took it over. STAY AWAY

This is the most darling golf course. Also challenging.. very hilly, the clubhouse was so cute, although it seemed more could be going on in there.... Very much worth it. This is a very fun course, and I was a beginner...

I'm not much of a golfer, but I feel no pressure here - everyone's friendly and the clubhouse is a wonderful place to visit after a round.

It is a walk only golf course.....little difficult and soggy in the winter.

Thank you for your review! I just wanted to note that we do have golf carts we just don't let them out until the course drys up a bit, to prevent damage to the course and carts. Thank you again, hope to see you in the summer! Justin Taylor Orcas Island Golf Course golf@orcasgolf.com More
