This is a beautiful loop walk on the river that empties into Lake Chelan. The park is a great place to picnic. We just relaxed and watched all the boaters on the river. The breeze coming off the water was wonderful despite the heat of the day. Very pleasant. A great place to stop along the way is The Lone... More

This is by far the prettiest lake we have seen! The water is so blue. This was a very relaxing vacation. The only negative I can say is the "southern" girl couldn't take the cold water! However, there were swimmers, jet skis & boating in the lake.

Lake Chelan is a beautiful long and deep lake located in the Foothills of the North Cascades. The water is very clear and the cool water is very refreshing on a hot summer day. It is fairly built up around Chelan town, although there are less inhabited parts of the lake that can be visited. From what I have read... More

Lots of places for different activities like swimming, jet skiing, etc. Lots of different activities around the lake, such as wine tasting, and visiting small shops.

Very family friendly area and gorgeous lake with miles of walking paths and heaps of activities. Town of Chelan has outstanding food and resort options, the lake itself is very clean and clear - a bit cold but it is a mountain lake!

I first visited Lake Chelan in 1970 staying in the state campground. Over the years I've graduated to a timeshare at Wapato Point but the lake itself hasn't changed at all. It is still absolutely beautiful, scenic and relaxing.

Love everything about this little town, the people are friendly, one of the cleanest places we have ever come across, lots or walking paths around the Lake. The lake is amazing! Crystal clear Blue waters! We stayed in the City RV park, looking forward to coming back!

Be aware this great course does not keep the hours that it says in all the visitors / tourist guides. The guides state open 10 am 7 days a week starting Memorial day. We showed up a week after Memorial Day weekend on Tuesday morning at 10. Closed. So I called the Parks and Recreation office . .He said closed... More
