Great place to get away.

We love going to Lake Chelan. It's just 3 hours away and it's a great way to get away and enjoy lake living. We love wine tasting, jet skiing and camping.

Great little town with wonderful scenery! Went late May and it was very quiet but you could feel the energy building for the summer season.

Perfect little town similar to Carmel, California but smaller. Lots of arts and crafts and mom and pop shops

We've been coming to Lake Chelan for years for a one week family reunion. Can't beat it. Lots to do for all ages. Wapato Point has the best beach in WA. Also just returned from couples wine tasting trip to Chelan. The wineries now rival Walla Walla. And there are many to try.

We visited in April, 2015. Beautiful countryside and very pleasant weather during our stay. The lake was calm with not a lot of traffic and there was still a little snowpack on the mountains. The wineries were just releasing their white and blush offerings and there were plenty of tastings to do.

Take the boat trip Lady of the Lake. Its a 6 hour trip but well worth seeing the sight and learning about the area.

Me, my brother & sister, our parents, and our families rented a house at Lake Chelan in June of 2014. It was BEAUTIFUL! We could just sit and look at the view all day and never tire of it! It's a great little town too. It was relaxing, the weather was perfect, and we couldn't have asked for a better... More

Summer is the best time to visit. Although late spring is also good. Lot of good local wineries, hiking and charming little downtown.

Lake Chelan is a perfect gem tucked away in the mountains. You wouldn't know that such a great setting awaits you as you make your way up the steep mountain. The lake is crystal clear and perfect for boating or swimming. The public beaches are clean with sandy beaches (no rocks). Changing facilities are well maintained and the public areas... More

We stayed in town. From there we had easy access for many half day road trips. We toured around the lake and orchards visiting some local wineries. Wapato Cellars and Lake Chelan Winery were both very welcoming and had a great variety of wines. Another trip was to Winthrop for lunch. Driving a loop to Bridgeport and back was another... More
