Great park for a mild hike. Refreshing water holes for cooling off. Need a nice pair of hiking boot or shoes to really take advantage

We are visiting some family in the area and we checked out this lake while here. It is a fun lake with a few people in various paddle boats etc. it seemed like there were a lot of people fishing, swimming, boating, etc, but it was a hot day when we came. I saw a couple of rope swings which... More

I enjoy two different walking trails along the south side of Lacamas Lake. The most western portion of the lake trail begins just to the west of the new Community Lodge. It runs west toward the tip of the lake providing lake views all along the southern edge of this beautiful lake. The other trails begin near the parking lot... More

This is a very nice place to visit just outside of Vancouver. There is plenty of parking and lots of trails you can take around the lake. My family likes to go here and use the playgrounds or take an easy stroll on one of the multi-use trails. First off, I would not call this a hiking trail...there is not... More

Close to town, close to variety of services, big enough to allow people to spread out but small enough one can't get lost. Does have fishing available, boat ramps. Unfortunately, water quality can suffer at times. Jet skis can be a little bit of a nuisance because of the small size of the lake.

I grew up in Camas so going to Lacamas Lake has always been a staple of my childhood. The water is great for kayaking and stand up paddle boarding, although I wouldn't suggest swimming or fishing because the water has been polluted over the years. The lake is big enough to jet ski, water ski, wake board, or inner tube,... More

Great place to kayak and sup. Easy access and very smooth water if you go over to adjacent Round Lake. If you do not have your own you can rent from Sweetwater sup rentals.

Love that it is hard gravel and not pavement so its nice on your knees. It can get a little crowded with joggers. Everyone has been nice letting our dog swim off leash without yelling. Great easy slow in for the dog. It is her favorite lake. Can walk to two other lakes - Round and Fallen Leaf. Nice views... More
