We didn't stay overnight here but just dropped in for the day. There is a small charge for that because it is a State Park. We went on a beautiful wooded hike that had a couple of overlooks. We ended the hike at a lovely beach. The beach is of the stony variety with lots of wildlife on it and... More

We stopped to eat our lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Absolutely gorgeous park and we can't wait to go back and spend some more time there! Beautiful views of the sound and Whidbey Island, boats going by, all sorts of sea life on the beach, just wonderful!

The cabins are very rustic, and close together. You will enjoy this campground with kids. The view is incredible and the Wooden Boathouse rental shop is cool. Great place, fantastic staff. The camp is clean and very well maintained. We will be back, even in yucky weather. Storms might be real fun to watch out there. Thanks for the great... More

Cama Beach offers an interesting twist on the usual state park experience. Because of its history as a privately-owned fishing camp, it offers tiny little cabins right on the water for very reasonable prices. Yes, they are cosy with beautiful hand-made quilts on the beds, but they include only a refrigerator, microwave and sink--no bathrooms! But the bathhouse is a... More

This brand new park was built on a Native burial site. However, Camano Island is not part of any Native reservation nor has it ever belonged to one specific tribe. Camano Island was a common pit stop for Native travelers and the burial could belong to just about any tribe. While the park consulted with tribes before building, things were... More

I am not much of a camper, having grown up in a large city. This was a good way for me to "rough it" a bit with my 5 year old son in tow. "Glamping," as I call it, or "glamorous camping." The cabins are clean and had great amenities. We stayed in a waterfront cabin and I think that... More

This is the best of many great Washington Parks. Beautiful setting, wonderful amenities, and hard working staff combine to make a visit here most enjoyable.

Last weekend four generations of daughters in my family gathered in five Cama Beach cabins for a retreat. This is a unique place to stay, in a beautiful setting right on the beach. The cabins were built in the 1930s and have a rustic simplicity from our grandparent's time. They are clean and with all the necessities, including beautiful handmade quilts... More

Went with some friends and stayed in one of the cabins. We had a blast! It gets very quiet by 8:00 at night but that didn't stop us from having fun. We even watched a wedding right outside our door.
